Chapter 853 - Chapter 853 Seeking Help

The sky was just brightening when Law got up.

The Lawlin Museum typically received clients through online communication, and only very few clients came to the company in person.

Therefore, the company had no fixed opening hours… it was entirely up to chance. No one knew when Sabro got up either.

Law found no ingredients in the kitchen fridge, so he had to go out to the market to buy groceries.

After all, this was the city where the Hunter Association was located. A super commercial association had set up there, and in a specially designated market, there were many high-grade ingredients. Naturally, the prices were beyond ordinary households.

But among the many ingredients sold in the market, the highest grade barely reached E to F. In the eyes of Gourmet Hunters like Law and Menchi, they couldn't even be considered low-grade.

But with limited conditions, Law could only get these ingredients.

Truly high-grade ingredients were a matter of luck. Even with money, it was hard to buy them exactly when you wanted.

After circling the market, Law bought many ingredients, then returned to the Association building. Before everyone woke up, he efficiently cooked a large, lavish breakfast.

Perhaps it was telepathy. Kuro, who had been roaming all night, returned right as Law finished cooking, immediately heading to the table.

If not for Law slapping him once, he probably would have devoured the entire table of food already.

"You could cook more after eating. Anyway, you cook so fast."

Kuro muttered unwillingly in a low voice but didn't dare sneak any food.

Law saw the time was about right and went to wake everyone up.

Soon, everyone, after washing up, sat around the table. Looking at the large spread of dishes, complete with color, aroma, and taste, they instantly felt their fingers move, not waiting for an invitation, picking up bowls and chopsticks, launching an attack on the full table of food.

Normally, Salin and Sabro had their own busy matters… there was hardly enough time each day, let alone cooking personally.

Not sure how long it had been since they ate Law's cooking. Once they started, it was a race against time.

Within just dozens of seconds, Law silently got up and went to the kitchen.

He had bought two days' worth of ingredients from the market, filling the entire fridge. But judging by the way the people outside were eating, two days' worth might only last one meal.

"Only considered Buhara, forgot about that stupid cat."

Law muttered to himself, then started being busy again, continuously sending out plate after plate of food for the table outside.

After a satisfying meal, everyone looked content.

Law was responsible for cooking… naturally, he wouldn't wash dishes. Even though he could easily clean them with his ability, he just didn't want to.

After the meal, everyone did their own things.

Buhara had work and left first.

Biscuit had nothing to do, watching TV in the living room.

Machi also had nothing to do, accompanying Biscuit watching TV.

Salin and Bruna went to the bookshelf area to chat. Sabro sat in front of the computer, starting his daily routine.

Kuro, who had been out all night, retracted into the back of Law's hand, probably going to sleep after eating.

Law wanted to take Kurapika downstairs to confirm the star registration matter. Just as they went out, they encountered Linne and Shachmono visiting.

"We're heading back. Airship at 1 p.m."

Shachmono spoke for Linne, stating their departure to Law.

"So urgent?" Law was surprised.

The entire floor belonged to the Lawlin Museum… no outsiders were there, so they stood outside.

"Yes."

Shachmono glanced at Linne beside him. "The Chairman has recovered, so there's no reason to stay longer."

"True." Law nodded.

"Law, if you have nothing urgent recently, try to stay at the Association," Linne suddenly spoke.

"Why?" Law was puzzled.

"Factions within the Association are using the Chimera Ant incident to pressure, using Netero's negligence as a reason to force him to step down. I want you to lend a hand when necessary," Linne said.

Law pondered briefly, then said, "I'm not good at this aspect. Moreover, there's Cheadle and the others. But since you asked, I'll keep an eye on it."

Originally, Law didn't plan to get involved in this mess, but since Linne spoke up, he could only agree.

But he felt he couldn't help much. Where he could truly help was probably regarding that batch of transported Chimera Ant eggs.

Seeing Law agreed, Linne nodded, a faint smile appearing on her old face.

After seeing off the two elders, Law led Kurapika to the office area.

On the way, Kurapika, who had been taciturn since coming to the Lawlin Museum, suddenly said, "Law, I received the final batch of intelligence last night."

Deliberately avoiding terms like 'eyes' or 'Scarlet Eyes', but Law still understood. "In whose hands?"

"Not clear who holds them yet. Only know it's on an underground website gathering people with special hobbies. Someone uploaded a video capturing many... eyes."

Kurapika's tone unconsciously took on a layer of cold chill.

The rewards he earned capturing wanted criminals in recent years were almost all invested in intelligence channels.

Quite a few intelligence channels operated constantly, allowing Kurapika to gradually collect his clan's lost eyes at a not slow pace.

Just last night in the deep hours, he received intelligence sent by a certain channel… the content was this website he just mentioned.

Law looked at Kurapika, clearly seeing faint red light emitting from the edges of his contact lenses.

"Kurapika, is that video still on the website?"

"Gone. Deleted within a day of uploading. But someone probably downloaded and saved it."

"I see."

Law pinched his chin. "Do you need me to help find the holder's identity?"

Kurapika slightly bit his lip, then nodded firmly.

Only the final step remained to reclaim a part of his clan's taken bodies. To achieve this goal, he wouldn't hesitate to use any means.

Compared to his determination, asking Law for help was nothing.

Law looked at Kurapika. "I have a friend who's a Hacker Hunter. His skill can probably be considered the world's strongest. Although not sure if he can still trace after the video is deleted, I can have him try."

"Thank you." Kurapika said gratefully.

Seeing Kurapika being so formal, Law didn't say much, patted his shoulder, and walked forward.

Kurapika took a deep breath, calming his inner emotions. The red light at the edges of his pupils flickered.

Vice Chairman's Office.

Pariston had just put down the receiver, a slightly excited smile appearing on his face.

"Starting to exert pressure, eh? That's interesting."

Pariston most wanted Ging to regard him as a rival, and least wanted was confronting Law head-on.

While the most suitable target for amusement was none other than Netero.
