I had a million question at those words. Who is this girl? Where did she come from? Did mother have a child no one was aware of? How come she is the future of our clan? What about me, I thought I was the hope of the katsuragi clan? However, I had to suppress my questions, and not challenge my Okaasan's words.
I thought, I would ignore her like the rest of my big sisters, but Akane always, always, stood up! She was good at everything, making me into a backdrop —like she was born to replace me! Most of all, Akane was said to be the person to inherit the katsuragi clan in the future.
