Chapter 117 - 115: Akira The Most Dangerous Brat

Akira's eyes widened slightly. He didn't even have time to react before the giant, mountain-sized fist smashed through the top of his golden colosseum like it was thin glass.

BOOM!

The massive fist crashed directly onto Akira, burying him deep into the ground. A huge cloud of dust and debris exploded outward, completely covering the center of the arena.

Ur and Gildarts quickly jumped back to avoid the shockwave, coughing as the dust swirled around them. When the air finally cleared, the giant fist slowly shrank back down, revealing Master Makarov standing there with his arm returning to normal size.

In the middle of the newly formed crater, Akira stood there with a small golden dome protecting him from the giant iron fist of love. Although he still had that confident smile, only Akira himself knew how scared he was a moment ago.

He almost used his demonic eyes of destruction on Makarov. Thankfully, his observation Haki helped him from murdering his own guild master.

Slowly, the small golden dome faded away into sparkles of light. Akira casually dusted off his clothes, keeping his arms crossed as he looked back at the old master.

Makarov's eyebrow twitched when he saw that Akira was perfectly fine. He fully brought his arm back to normal size, letting out a loud huff while crossing his arms over his chest.

"You cocky brat," Makarov scowled, looking around at the completely ruined landscape. "I told you to undo your magic, not to keep showing off until the very last second."

Akira just kept his perfect, handsome smile, but inside, he let out a huge sigh of relief. Thankfully, the master didn't notice his actions otherwise; he would really be too embarrassed to look at him. If anyone found out that he almost used his ultimate demonic eyes on his own guild master just out of pure reflex, his cool image would be totally ruined.

Makarov, unaware that he had almost kicked the bucket, began to scold Akira for the destruction he had caused to the Tenrou island. While he was scolding Makarov, spinning his head, trying to understand what the hell had happened here.

When he and the rest of the guild members finally arrived, they found that the island was shaking due to the battle between Ur and Gildarts. Seeing this epic battle all the guild members felt their blood boiling as they began to go crazy. They started opening their gambling table and began to cheer for the two of them.

Makarov also reflexively did his duty as the guild master and began to shout out for the bets and finally began to search for the other two brats. He already found Laxus, who was unconscious nearby. And taking him back to a safe place he began searching for Akira.

And no matter how much he searched, he couldn't find him, making Makarov feel a bad feeling.

And sure enough, this kid Akira came flying and began to pummel both Gildarts and Ur.

And what's more, all those new spells that Akira used made even him stunned. Especially that spell that he made to create that golden colosseum, as the third guild master of Fairy Tail, how could he not recognise their guild's signature super magic spells?

This is why Makarov didn't want any longer, as he came to stop this battle. Of course, the fact that Tenrou Island is barely holding on because of their battle had nothing to do with it.

" Hey, Akira, where did you learn this spell? " Makarov asked as he looked at Akira with a serious gaze. He remembered he never left the spell book for this magic spell in the library.

"Oh, you mean this spell. I name this spell [Warrior's Colosseum]. This is a spell I made after modifying the ultimate defense Fairy Sphere," Akira shrugged, speaking in a completely casual tone as if he was just talking about the weather. "I just created it after a very helpful senior taught me the three spells."

Makarov's jaw literally dropped to the ground. His eyes popped out so far they looked like they were about to fall out of his head.

"Y-You modified Fairy Sphere?!" Makarov stuttered, his voice cracking as he pointed a trembling finger at the golden arena. "That is an absolute defense magic that protects the guild from any evil! You turned a legendary sealing and protection barrier into a fighting arena just because you wanted to?!"

"Well, the original sphere is just a giant ball that locks everyone inside," Akira replied, tilting his head with a handsome smirk. "It's a bit boring. Making it into a colosseum looks much cooler and lets me dance with my opponents properly."

"You absolute monster of a brat!" Makarov shouted, his face turning completely red from a mix of shock and pure disbelief. "And what do you mean a senior taught you?! Nobody in this era even knows the formulas for all three spells except me!"

Before Makarov could explode any further, a cheerful, melodious giggle rang out from behind Akira.

"He's talking about me, Makarov~"

Everyone blinked and looked over. Floating gently in the air was a small girl with long, wavy pastel-yellow hair and bare feet, wearing a frilly dress. She had tiny wing-like attachments on her head, and her big green eyes were sparkling with excitement.

Makarov's eyes widened to the size of saucers, his heart nearly skipping a beat. "M-First Master Mavis?!"

Mavis Vermillion floated down, landing right next to Akira with a bright, amazed smile on her face.

"I was getting bored watching over the island, so when I saw Akira's incredible talent, I couldn't help but teach him the core formulas of Fairy Law, Fairy Glitter, and Fairy Sphere!" Mavis clapped her hands together happily, her eyes sparkling. "But even I didn't expect him to completely rewrite Fairy Sphere into his own unique magic like this. His creativity is absolutely wonderful! Makarov, you have done an absolutely great job in recruiting such a talent to Fairy Tail. I'm sure Yuri would have been proud of you."

Hearing this praise, Makarov began to cry because of pure emotion. Tears streamed down his old face like giant twin waterfalls. This old man was like a small kid who finally managed to get his parents' recognition.

"F-First Master..." Makarov blubbered, wiping his nose with his sleeve as he balled his eyes out. "You really think so? I... I've always tried my best to guide these troublesome brats..."

Akira and Ur just stared at their guild master with completely deadpan expressions. Really, although they knew that this old man was shameless, they never knew he was *this* shameless. Sure, Fairy Tail caused its fair share of trouble, but the situation wasn't nearly as problematic as Makarov was making it out to be.

After all, right now Fairy Tail was just a fairly large guild with some members who simply had a bit too much energy. It wasn't the future greatest guild in Fiore where literally every single quest resulted in massive property damage.

Mavis just giggled softly at the sight, floating down a bit closer to Makarov. "So, Makarov, you really shouldn't be angry at Akira. With his kind of talent, who knows? He might even create a fourth grand magic for our guild in the future."

The moment those words left Mavis's mouth, Makarov's tears stopped. He slowly turned his head to look at Akira, who was still standing there with his arms crossed, maintaining his calm smile.

"Please, First Master, don't give him any ideas," Makarov sighed, rubbing his temples. "This brat's current magic is already trouble enough. If he invents another one, I fear the guild would one day be destroyed by this brat. "

"Hahaha, " Mavis laughed heartily, but she didn't deny this point. Even she, who only spends a few hours with Akira, knew how terrifying this kid's research ability. With just a few hours, he not only learned three super magic he also modified each of them and created more new magic spells.

Such a talent would surely one day be capable of blowing up the guild because of carelessness.
