The instant he laid eyes on them, a curious expression flickered across Whis's face.
Because before him, on a planet that hadn't seen visitors for millions of years… stood an entire group of people.
Yes, not one or two, but a large crowd.
For a second, Whis almost wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him.
"Lord Whis!"
Of course, while Whis was surprised, the Old Kaiōshin dared not show the slightest disrespect. He immediately stepped forward and bowed in greeting.

Jiang Chen stepped forward with respectful words. He was very aware of the overwhelming power standing before him.
If Beerus was one of the strongest among all twelve Gods of Destruction, then this Angel, Whis, was very likely the most powerful of all the Angels in the twelve universes.
Perhaps only the Grand Priest surpassed him.
After all, God of Destruction Beerus had been trained by Whis himself. If Whis had not been unimaginably strong, how could he have forged such a destructive force as Beerus?
"Is that so?"
"But Aspara San, bringing so many people to the God of Destruction's planet… is not exactly a wise choice."
"If Lord Beerus were to awaken, it could become… troublesome."
Whis's eyes narrowed in a smile as he spoke.

"Whis! Why are there so many people here again?!"
As if to prove his point, an irritable roar rang out. A moment later, a flash of violent purple light came crashing down toward them.
That purple glow radiated unparalleled destructive power. Even just feeling it made everyone's hearts seize.
Jiang Chen instinctively prepared to act.
But Goku was the first to move.

A crimson light flared, and in an instant, Son Goku entered the form of Super Saiyan God.
"What's this…?"
Whis's eyes gleamed, his expression carrying a touch of surprise.
"Haaaah!"
With a roar, Goku thrust his hands forward, the raging violet energy crashing against him, yet he stopped it head-on. His aura surged, and with a powerful push, he hurled it back.

But the blast had barely been repelled before, in the very next moment, a purple figure appeared. With nothing more than a light squeeze of his hand, the energy sphere shattered into fragments.
"Boy, who are you?"
A voice, filled with curiosity, rang out. A figure appeared high in the air, his gaze locking onto the transformed Super Saiyan God Goku, a glint of excitement flickering in his eyes.
"Tch, forget it… doesn't matter! Perfect timing, I was looking for a fight! Boy, I hope you can last me more than a few hits!"
Beerus's mocking tone echoed, and in the next instant, his figure blurred as he lunged straight at Goku.
"He really is short-tempered…"
Watching this unfold, Jiang Chen shook his head slightly. Then his eyes shifted toward GT Goku and Vegeta.
"If Goku can't hold him back, you two will jump in together. That guy is stronger than any enemy you've faced so far. Take this as a chance to familiarize yourselves with both Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Five."
Jiang Chen spoke softly, his words directed at the two warriors.
"Alright!"
"Understood!"
GT Goku and GT Vegeta's eyes lit up, they had never expected Jiang Chen to encourage them like this, and anticipation immediately surged within them.
"Ohoho, Aspara San, Lord Beerus is very strong. And at the moment… Lord Beerus is rather angry."
Whis offered a good-natured reminder, his tone almost playful.

Jiang Chen's eyes widened in surprise. He hadn't expected that under Beerus's pressure, this world's Son Goku would break through yet again, ascending into Super Saiyan Blue.
Yet it was clear, despite the transformation, the gap between him and Beerus was still vast.
"My turn!"
With a cold snort, Vegeta surged forward. In the blink of an eye, he transformed into Super Saiyan 4 and charged into the fray.
The clash ignited once more, the battlefield shattering beneath their combined power.
"The power of a Saiyan's Great Ape form?" Whis's voice carried a hint of surprise.
But only for a moment. Soon, his expression relaxed again, as far as he was concerned, this sort of power was still nothing remarkable.
"Enough. This ends now. To give me, a God, even a moment of enjoyment… that alone is your honor."
"Hakai, Destruction!"
Beerus stood tall in the heavens, his presence overwhelming. A colossal sphere of destructive energy swelled into existence above his palm, then descended like a tidal wave toward Son Goku and Vegeta below.
"So it really won't work, huh?"
Goku's face tightened with helplessness, while Vegeta clenched his teeth in defiance.
But just as the devastating energy was about to consume them, a figure appeared.
"Haaaah~!"
Crack!
With a sharp shout, a violent aura surged outward. The terrifying sphere of destruction was caught in one hand, and crushed.
It shattered into countless motes of starlight, scattering across the skies.
"…Hm?"
Surprise flickered across Beerus's face. His gaze shifted instinctively toward the figure who had suddenly appeared.
And when he saw clearly, Beerus's pupils narrowed sharply.
That silhouette… it overlapped almost perfectly with the figure from his dreams.
When he had first seen Son Goku, there had been a faint trace of that same feeling.
But now, it was far stronger.
"Super Saiyan God…?"
Beerus muttered, his eyes locking onto GT Son Goku.
"Thanks…"
The Goku of this world couldn't help but voice his gratitude to his counterpart from another timeline.
"Tch." Vegeta only gave a cold snort.
"You two step back and rest. This guy… he's on another level." GT Goku's expression had turned grim as well. Even from a distance, he could feel it, Beerus's terrifying power.
Perhaps Jiang Chen was right. This being before them was stronger, more dreadful, than any enemy they had ever faced.
Even GT Goku himself was forced to raise his guard to the absolute limit.
As their gazes locked, the very air around them grew heavy and viscous. The oppressive tension spread across the entire Kaiōshin Realm.
