Draco stared at the ceiling for a moment, a little dazed. "As for dreams… I haven't really thought about it… maybe inheriting the family business."
"In that case, just follow your own interests and choose your courses accordingly," Kasenhis explained.
"That simple?" Draco asked, puzzled.
"Honestly, every time I see someone like you who doesn't have to worry about the future acting all nonchalant in front of me, I get the urge to slap you. So could you not make it sound so easy? You can think it's simple all you want, just don't say it out loud and make everyone else uncomfortable," Kasenhis said with a hint of exasperation.
"Oh, okay, Professor." Draco's lips twitched helplessly as he left the office.
A single round of career guidance took up almost the entire morning for Kasenhis. It wasn't until noon in the Great Hall that Dumbledore returned to Hogwarts, accompanied by Professor McGonagall and Snape.
The timing was just perfect, almost as if they had deliberately avoided giving career guidance.
"You've really misunderstood this. It's just that our meeting was unusually short this time," Snape said without the slightest change in expression.
"…It had better be," Kasenhis replied faintly.
On the other side of the dining table, Hagrid was busy figuring out how to persuade Dumbledore to help him discipline a younger brother he had somehow acquired.
In the end, Dumbledore was so bothered by Hagrid that he said directly, "We have so many professors. If you think any one of them can handle your brother, and can do so successfully, then I'll agree to let him stay on Hogwarts grounds."
Seeing that Dumbledore had opened a door, Hagrid quickly seized the opportunity and began scanning the professors at the long table.
Professor McGonagall… scary…
Professor Snape… scary…
Professor Flitwick… too small…
Professor Sprout… not necessarily capable…
Professor Grindelwald… scary…
The other ordinary professors… not necessarily capable either…
Eh… there seems to be one "ordinary" professor who isn't so ordinary after all…
Hagrid immediately stopped eating and appeared right beside Kasenhis, making the latter, who was busy stuffing his mouth, look at him in confusion.
"What happened?" Kasenhis asked, completely baffled.
"I have a small favor I'd like to ask of you." Hagrid grinned awkwardly.
"…Go on." Kasenhis fell silent for a second before speaking.
"…It's really a very small favor."
…
"And this is what you call a very small favor?" Kasenhis looked at the giant in front of him, at least sixteen feet tall, and silently rubbed his chin.
No matter how he looked at it… this didn't seem small at all.
"Well, Kasenhis?" Hagrid asked eagerly.
"Answer me this first. Who is this?" Kasenhis asked.
"My brother. His name is Grawp. You know I'm a half-giant. My father was a wizard, my mother was a giant, and he's a full-blood giant. We share the same mother but have different fathers," Hagrid explained.
"And what do you want me to do? Discipline him? Make him stop causing trouble?" Kasenhis tilted his head and glanced at Hagrid.
"You could say that." Hagrid nodded. "I won't lie to you, but Grawp is more aggressive than I am… um… just make sure he stops smashing things without thinking."
"That's not a problem, but I should make this clear first, Hagrid. For a big guy like this with limited intelligence, reasoning with him won't work," Kasenhis said leisurely.
"Then how do you plan to discipline him?" Hagrid asked, puzzled.
"Make him feel pain. Make him afraid. Do you agree?" Kasenhis tilted his head.
"I agree!"
The moment Hagrid finished speaking, Kasenhis vanished from the spot. Only his long coat was left draped over Hagrid's shoulder, followed by the sharp sound of something slicing through the air.
Kasenhis appeared instantly beside Grawp's head. A whipping kick tore through the air with a series of sonic booms before crashing heavily into Grawp's skull.
Along with the impact came a single line: "I am Kasenhis!"
Before Grawp could even react, his entire body flew like a kite with its string cut, hurtling toward a massive tree as thick as two or three Hagrids combined, smashing it to pieces in an instant.
Yet the unfortunate giant didn't stop. He kept flying farther into the distance.
Kasenhis was already waiting there, like a badminton racket positioned in advance to meet an incoming shuttlecock.
With another loud bang, Kasenhis slammed his palm down onto Grawp's head, smashing him straight into the ground and leaving behind a huge crater.
Another sentence forced its way into Grawp's mind along with the intense pain.
"I am Kasenhis!"
Hagrid, whose jaw had already dropped to the ground from the very first kick, finally came back to his senses. He lifted his foot, about to chase after Kasenhis and stop him.
But in the next moment, he stopped.
It had been him who asked Kasenhis to discipline Grawp. And Kasenhis had already said it clearly… for a big guy with low intelligence, discipline meant making him feel pain, making him afraid…
Although it felt a bit awkward to admit… Hagrid knew exactly what his brother was like. It really couldn't be said that he was intelligent, so in a way, this method of discipline wasn't exactly wrong…
And so, with every punch came a "I am Kasenhis," and with every kick another "I am Kasenhis." Grawp was tossed around like a basketball, sent flying back and forth, slammed into the ground, picked up, and slammed down again.
Even Hagrid was getting scared just watching…
In the end, Kasenhis returned to the ground. The surrounding Forbidden Forest had been reduced to something… rather indescribable.
He then walked toward Grawp and said softly, "I am Kasenhis."
In an instant, Grawp's wails echoed throughout the entire Forbidden Forest. The source of the cries was curled up on the ground, clutching his head with both hands.
"Hagrid, give it a try," Kasenhis said with a satisfied nod.
"Say… say what?" Hagrid asked, startled.
"What I just said."
Hagrid suddenly understood. "Oh. I am Kasenhis."
Immediately, Grawp's wails rang out through the Forbidden Forest once again.
"That's it. Discipline complete." Kasenhis clapped his hands, took his coat from Hagrid's shoulder, and put it back on.
