The tunnel of the Red Nest Ruins stretched deep into the earth. The walls on both sides were lined with dried insect shells, and every so often, small drops of some viscous liquid fell down onto the floor.
The Void Legion advanced along the corridor.
Because the tunnel was not large enough for the entire army to walk side by side, Noan had ordered the formation to be split. The Meteor Warriors moved at the front, the Void Skeletons formed two rows on either side, and the Jade Rabbits followed in the middle. Monica appeared and disappeared through the shadows on the walls, checking every branching passage.
The Redshell Insect King walked alongside Noralia.
Its two antennae continuously trembled, letting Noralia sense every unusual life signal within the ruins.
"There are still living Insect Race inside." Noralia said softly. "Not many, but their positions are somewhat scattered."
Noan asked: "Are they gathering?"
