"The world thinks twins are simple, but the fact that two beings share almost everything, including the same womb, creates a strange but undeniably real bond. A trust that no other human will feel for another." Thoughts of Miquella as she remembered her twin sister.
-------
With Alysanne's orders, the reputations of Maegor and Aegon were thrown into the trash. Maegor had become the father of hundreds of illegitimate children and a harem of thousands of women. Aegon, on the other hand, became the greatest nightmare of the ladies, deflowering them and abandoning them the next day, and if they were pregnant, they would take Moon Tea to abort.
Of course, Maegor and Aegon did not stand still while the reputations they had built were so easily destroyed. In the words of both princes, Alysanne had a planet-sized harem with handsome men of all races in the universe.
At this moment, even the most foolish of men knew that the princes and princesses were fighting a fierce political battle. Shots were fired everywhere, and whoever was in front would suffer the wrath of the princes and princess.
Inside a bar, Maegor and his subordinates were talking heatedly; the reason was the rumors that Alysanne had spread. Although it seemed like something trivial, it was not. Divine lineage was a matter of extreme importance, so the rumors that Maegor would be the father of hundreds of illegitimate sons and daughters were enough for the Cult of the God Emperor to visit the prince in a secret visit.
Remembering Kinvara, the Reverend Mother who personally inquired about the rumors, Maegor felt a shiver run down his body. Kinvara was a character that even the princes and princesses were afraid to get too close to, not because of her political power or even her personal power, but for the simple fact that Kinvara was a fanatic of the highest degree.
The woman could burn an entire planet and just say it was for the good of the God Emperor; there was no hesitation or even compassion for the people, just the simple fact that Aenar ordered her to do so.
"My Prince, the Cult of the Emperor's investigation has backed off; no evidence of the supposed illegitimate children was found." Maegor's personal butler spoke with a respectful and relieved tone. Although he knew they were just rumors, what if?
Maegor nodded as he brought a glass containing Whiskey to his lips. He couldn't help but think that Alysanne was truly cruel. While the rumors about Aegon were easier, only targeting the nobility, the rumors about him involved his father's lineage, which naturally involves the Cult of the God Emperor of Humanity.
If it were confirmed that he really had hundreds of illegitimate sons and daughters, he would be before his father, kneeling and asking for forgiveness for being too lustful. His punishment would naturally be a long and drawn-out confinement in his own castle on his fief. Without being able to get involved in the politics of the Imperial Senate.
For a faction leader in the Imperial Senate, this was a terrible thing, as his supporters would no longer have his protection and would be targets of the other two factions.
"How are the preparations for the attack on the Senate?" Maegor asked with a calm tone. His appearance might suggest that he was an idiot with muscle for brains, but his personality was completely opposite to what was expected.
"The evidence is ready. When the Imperial Senate Session begins, the Princess Regent will be expelled from the Senate for a long time. The position of Imperial Counselor will fall to Lord Ardell." The butler spoke with a respectful tone; there was a touch of joy in his voice.
Maegor nodded and looked at the young man with curly brown hair and green eyes; he looked quite effeminate. He wore a dark green suit with the House Tyrell coat of arms on his chest. He was the one Maegor supported for the position of Imperial Counselor – Ardell of House Tyrell.
"Don't worry, Prince, I will not disappoint your trust in me." Ardell spoke with a solemn tone. Only he knew how much he had done to gain the trust of this cautious prince, who was more astute than politicians a thousand years old.
If something happened and shook the trust Maegor had in him, Ardell would really cry like a child after his favorite candy was stolen.
Maegor just looked deeply at him and nodded. He had done everything to put Ardell in the position; if it didn't work, someone had to suffer his wrath after losing to Aegon or Alysanne.
Inside Alysanne's office.
The Crown Princess was behind a desk with a calm expression; the rumors did not affect her at all. As for the planet full of handsome men, Alysanne just rolled her eyes and didn't even comment. If she did that, her mother would wake up every day smiling, as she always wanted her to get married.
"Dear Aunt, what brings you to my humble office?" Alysanne asked, looking at her little aunt, Miquella. The girl was truly beautiful and adorable; she had such a supernatural aura that it made it impossible to even look away.
Even with the resistance to external influences given to her by her father, Alysanne still felt a little difficulty resisting the urge to pinch Miquella's adorable cheeks.
Miquella placed the teacup on the saucer and smiled elegantly. She looked at her aunt and narrowed her eyes. Naerys was Alysanne's sister, so Alysanne herself was Miquella's aunt, not the other way around, but to keep up appearances, Miquella became Rhaella's daughter.
"Can't I just visit my favorite niece?" Miquella said with a sweet and gentle tone. Her golden eyes, like two pools of melted gold, stared at Alysanne with a cunning, yet somewhat adorable, look.
Alysanne wanted to laugh; besides her father, Miquella was the first person to say that she was her favorite. Interlacing her fingers, the princess rested her chin on her hands and looked at Miquella with the same cunning look, although without any adorable feeling.
"Dear Aunt, I'm happy that I'm your favorite niece, but I'm skeptical if I can believe your words." Alysanne commented with a smile. She had known Miquella for just over three days; it was really hard to make her believe her.
Showing an adorable smile, Miquella spoke gently. "Although it's a lie, it might as well become the truth."
"And what do I have to do to earn so much love from my adorable aunt?" Alysanne's smile deepened. She was curious about what Miquella wanted to do to the point of asking her own mother, Rhaella.
"I know you have some genetic lab; I need to create a human body." Miquella did not hide and spoke directly about her purpose. After all, it was completely impossible to hide the birth of her sister, Malenia.
A genuinely confused look appeared on Alysanne's face. She expected many things, but the creation of a human body was not one of them. Especially a human body that her two-year-old aunt wanted.
No matter how much she thought about it, there was something wrong, especially involving Miquella's mysterious origin.
"Naerys." As soon as Alysanne spoke her younger sister's name, Naerys herself appeared with her hands elegantly over her belly.
Miquella's face darkened, looking at Alysanne as if she were looking at a traitor. Ignoring her aunt's gaze, Alysanne looked at Naerys and explained what had just happened.
Naerys looked at her daughter with a curious look and touched her body. Seeing that there was nothing wrong with her body, she looked at Miquella and asked with a gentle tone. "Why do you want to create a human body?"
Miquella crossed her arms and turned her head, refusing to speak. Anyway, she just had to run to her grandfather's lap, and her mother couldn't do anything to her.
Seeing her daughter act like this, the smile on Naerys's face deepened, but she didn't ask again. Looking at Alysanne, she said, "Sister, do what she asks; our father practically let her do anything."
Alysanne rolled her eyes at Aenar's actions in spoiling the girl. "Alright, I will."
Miquella looked victoriously at Alysanne and Naerys. If she had known this information, she would have gone straight to the lab without talking to anyone else.
'It seems the girl never trained with me and doesn't know how to respect me. I have to teach the Fist of Love to the younger generation.' Seeing the smile on Miquella's face, Alysanne thought maliciously while feeling her fist itch. It had been a long time since a brat looked at her with such arrogance.
Miquella felt a chill run down her body. She looked around with a cautious look and was relieved to notice that there was nothing wrong.
Giving a last look at her daughter, Naerys smiled and disappeared, returning to stand beside the God Emperor of Humanity. She felt that her daughter had too many secrets for a two-year-old child, but she didn't dwell on it. If Miquella was more than she should be, her father would already know.
