After Serena finished telling us the harrowing details of her past, the mood around the table felt incredibly awkward for a bit. She didn't seem to mind the heavy silence at all, though, just sitting there with that same casual smile resting on her face while she lazily continued eating her meal.
"Ms. Murmurae..." Lana called out.
"Mya? Whaddya want, blondie?"
"About your past... When you said Mr. Blakrose came to your rescue, do you have any idea why he was able to show up at exactly the right time?"
"Hmm... Why he showed up, huh..." Ms. Murmurae mumbled, her voice thick and sluggish. "Dunno... Ain't like I sent out a signal or nothin'. He just appeared when things were lookin' real bad."
