Wen Zaao fell asleep on the desk, and when she woke up, it was the soreness in her arms and neck that roused her.
She rubbed her aching neck and slowly sat up, glanced at the time; it was already past two in the morning.
"Why did I fall asleep on the desk?"
Wen Zaao muttered quietly to herself and picked up a cup wanting to drink some water, only to find the water was cold.
She got up, walked out of the room, and went to the kitchen to pour herself a cup of hot water.
Upon coming out, she noticed Chu Ge's room was still lit, the door half-open, yellow light spilling through the gap. Curiously, Wen Zaao walked towards it, slightly pushed the door open, and saw Chu Ge sitting at the desk, looking at something.
Chu Ge sensed an intrusion behind him and abruptly turned his head, his dark gaze locking onto Wen Zaao.
An aura of coldness came upon her, Wen Zaao covered her chest, gave him a sheepish smile, "It's me, you're still awake?"
