Its daily operations require thousands of technical experts and even more auxiliary personnel for maintenance, and its key facilities inside are guarded in segments by dedicated defense forces. Inside the main ring, there are hundreds and thousands of functional module sections, along with a labyrinth of piping and corridors connecting them.
There are even high-speed highways and metro systems looping around the megastructure.
