Chapter 695 - Chapter 695: Thor is Teased

[Thor followed the address inscribed on the business card to the New York Sanctum Sanctorum.]

[He knocked twice on the ornate door, and the next instant he found himself transported to an completely unfamiliar location.]

[Thor remained stunned for a moment after knocking on empty air, then immediately began scanning his new surroundings with tactical awareness.]

[A dark shadow materialized silently behind his position.]

[Thor looked toward the source of the subtle sound and observed Strange floating toward him from the shadowy depths.]

[Confronting this unknown stranger, Thor warily raised Mjolnir, which Loki had disguised as an ordinary umbrella, and pointed it threateningly at him.]

[Strange descended and landed gracefully before him, immediately seeing through the magical illusion concealing Thor's hammer.]

["God of Thunder! You can lower your umbrella now!"]

[Thor glanced at the previously empty floor space and noticed there was now an umbrella stand positioned there.]

[His mouth curled slightly upward, and he inserted the disguised weapon.]

[The next second, his spatial position shifted again. Strange stood nearby with arms folded, observing him with analytical interest.]

[Thor examined his surroundings, then studied the mystical ornaments before him, casually picking up one of the thorned artifacts.]

["So... there are wizards on Earth now?"]

[He attempted to return the thorns to their original position, but accidentally disturbed the arrangement, causing several to scatter. He frantically tried to restore them to their proper places.]

["The correct terminology should be: Master of the Mystic Arts!"]

[Observing Thor's flustered yet forced composure, Strange appeared somewhat helpless.]

["Just leave it there!"]

[Thor, who had been wracking his brain over how to restore the arrangement, immediately abandoned his repair efforts and looked at Strange with hands on his hips.]

["All right! Wizard! Who are you? What do you want from me?"]

["I'm Dr. Stephen Strange! I have several questions for you! Please take a seat!"]

[Before Thor could formulate any response, he found himself seated on a comfortable sofa face to face with Strange.]

[This situation fascinated Thor tremendously. He couldn't comprehend how Strange could alter his position at will through space manipulation.]

[Strange tapped his temple thoughtfully and inquired: "Tea?"]

[Thor turned around and discovered he now held a steaming cup of tea in his hand.]

[He frowned with displeasure: "I don't drink tea!"

[Strange raised an eyebrow with accommodation: "Very well! What would you prefer to drink?"

Thor shook his head dismissively: "Anything except tea will suffice!"]

[As soon as he lowered his hand, Strange had replaced the teacup with a large beer mug filled with golden ale.]

[Thor narrowed his eyes as he examined the beer before him. He possessed no understanding of how Strange had accomplished all this directly under his observation.]

["I've been monitoring individuals and phenomena from other worlds! Because they could represent potential threats to this realm!"]

[Thor glanced at Strange and consumed the beer in his glass with large gulps.]

["The adopted brother you brought, Loki! He's classified as one of them!"]

[Speaking of Loki, Thor possessed his own opinions to express.]

["He absolutely deserves that classification!"]

[As soon as he finished speaking, he observed that the beer, which had been half-empty, automatically refilled itself, causing him to frown again with puzzlement.]

[Although he couldn't understand Strange's methodology, he still praised the automatic refill feature: "Impressive!"]

[Strange leaned forward and asked with serious concern: "Then why did you bring him to Earth?"]

["We're searching for my father!"]

["So! If I reveal Odin's location, will everyone involved return to Asgard immediately?"]

[Thor nodded with determination: "We'll depart immediately!"

Strange smiled with satisfaction: "Excellent! Let me assist you then!"]

["If you knew his whereabouts, why didn't you contact me?"]

[Strange lowered his head with explanation: "I must clarify that your father is extremely determined not to be disturbed! Odin chose voluntary exile for a period! And you don't possess a phone!"]

[Thor frowned with confusion: "No! I don't have that device, but you could send an email! That's called electronic mail!"]

["Yes! But do you have access to a computer?"]

["No! What's that used for?" Thor responded as if this was perfectly logical.]

["Aha!" Strange didn't want to continue discussing this apparently futile topic with Thor anymore.]

[Thor didn't dwell on this technological matter excessively.]

["Well, my father's exile period ends now! So tell me his location! I'll bring him back home!"]

[After making this declaration, he took another satisfying sip of his beer.]

[Strange certainly wouldn't refuse such a reasonable request: "Of course! He's currently in Norway!"]

[Then the scene transitioned, and both had left the sofa area and moved to the bookshelf section.]

[Thor stumbled unsteadily, and the beer in his glass, which had been completely full, spilled outward.]

[Strange was flipping through a leather-bound tome: "Let me determine if this spell requires some Asgardian modifications!"]

[Thor felt somewhat dizzy after experiencing so many position changes. He reached out and grasped the bookshelf beside him for support.]

[Before he could recover his equilibrium, Strange closed the book, looked up, and stated: "It appears that's unnecessary!"]

[The scene shifted again, Thor's position changed once more, he stumbled again, and Strange was stirring something mystical in a small bowl beside him.]

[Strange glanced at the bookshelf Thor was clutching: "Oh! We don't require that!"]

[Thor stumbled again, this time unable to control his strength properly. He broke a wooden board on the bookshelf, causing numerous books to tumble from their positions.]

[Thor sighed with frustration and set the beer glass aside.]

["Could you please stop this constant repositioning?"]

[Strange ignored his complaint and inquired: "May I... obtain a lock of your hair?"

[Thor immediately issued a warning: "I'm warning you, no one is permitted to tamper with my hair! Ah!"

However, before he could complete his protest, Strange approached and plucked a single hair from his head, causing him to cry out in pain.]

[Strange pinched the golden strand and extended it, causing golden light to emerge from his hand as he began casting the spell.]

[The scene changed to show Thor tumbling down a staircase, while Strange used his hair to form a three-pointed star oval pattern on his palm.]

[Finally, he transformed it into a dimensional portal.]

[Thor rose to his feet, dusted off his clothes, and commented sarcastically: "Couldn't we have simply walked there normally?"]
