Chapter 31 - Losing Even After Winning

"Where have all those villagers disappeared who escaped from us and came to the monastery?" Saito asks, looking at Richard. "I don't know," one of Richard's lookalikes replies. "My job was to find the book, but I only found one book here," Richard's lookalike replies. "Why are you so worried? We've killed more than half the people here and gotten the book too. Don't worry," another Richard replies. Just then, several of Richard's lookalikes arrive at the monastery. "We neither killed Seung's family nor were we able to get the two books. I don't know what Yen will do to us now," Saito looks at them and says. "Why don't we do one thing? We'll tell Yen that we killed Seung's entire family and burned them all along with the rest of the villagers." "That should calm Yen's anger down a bit," Richard says, looking at Saito. "Okay, that's the right thing to do. Let's get out of here." On their way from the village and monastery, Saito and Richard set the entire place on fire. They set it on fire. That fire is so intense that its smoke even covers the sun. What will we do now Guruji, where will we go? If these people come to know that we are all still alive, they will find us, Sohee asks looking at Lama. Most of the villagers who survived are crying, remembering the deaths of their loved ones. "I know a place where you won't be in any danger, believe me, I used to live there," Mozar says, looking at everyone. "Okay, we'll go with you," Lama says, looking at Mozar. "Who is that person standing upstairs in the monastery?" Just then, a foul smell spreads around due to the strong winds. Momo looks up at the monastery and says, "We can't see anyone," the people standing there say. "You wait, I'll go and see." Saying this, Lama walks back up through the tunnel towards the monastery. Meanwhile, all of Yen's warriors are celebrating their victory, except for Yen and his friends, who are sitting with Yen in a room. "Is there any truth in what the monk said?" "You knew beforehand that he wouldn't bring the book with him? You did all this just to gain your friend's powers," Half Face asks, looking at Yen. "Because of you." Any one of us could have died, so much bloodshed just for power. Irish looks at Yen and says.Would you like to say something? Katana looks at Yen and asks. It was just my guess that they wouldn't bring the thing they love more than their lives here, that's why I sent Saito and Richard to their village in advance. As for the powers, the more powerful I become, the more powerful you all will become. You know, after that ritual, we are all bound to each other. It was necessary to kill Seung because he was the only one who stood between me and my dreams. So I thought, why not kill him and take his powers? What's wrong in that? Anyway, tomorrow when Saito and Richard bring that book, whoever wants to go can go wherever they want.Yen looks at everyone and says. The lama arrives at the burning monastery and retrieves the pearl Aarral had created with his own power. Upon removing it, the pearl begins to glow, allowing Shaka to clearly see the lama. Shaka then hands Seung's glowing heart to the lama, recounting the entire story of the battle that led to Seung and Aarral's deaths. He also tells the master that the master is coming with the villagers. "You have a task for me. Go to the master and tell him to come through the forest, because on the way he might encounter the people who have turned this place into a cremation ground." "Then ask the master to release you," the lama says, looking at Shaka. Shaka nods and disappears. The next moment, he stands before the master, telling him everything the lama had told him. As soon as the master touches Shaka, his entire body begins to burn, causing him to scream in pain. However, he remains silent for some time. After that his whole body turns into ashes and disappears in the air. After his departure, the master leaves the main road and walks towards the forest path, all the villagers also follow him. Lama takes Seung's heart and reaches back down the mountain through the tunnel. Reaching there, the master puts Seung's heart in Sohee's hands and tells her the news of Seung's death and also tells her about Yen. Hearing the news of Seung's death, Sohee and Ah-seong start crying, Mozar and Miyoni take care of both of them. Then the lama looks at the villagers and says, "We have to stay here until morning because the master and the captured villagers will reach here by morning." Sohee looks at the lama and asks, Guruji, what should I do with this?Hearing this, the lama takes Sohee and Ah-seong to the other side. As soon as Suan eats this, he will acquire all his father's powers, allowing him to help others. The lama looks at them and says. These powers are a curse, which is why my son died. If he didn't have powers, he would have lived like a normal person, and who knows, he might still be alive today. Ah-seong and I will raise Suan like a normal person. You keep it with you.Saying this, Sohee returns Seung's heart. "If you ever need it, you can take it back from me. Until then, it will be safe with me." Saying this, the lama takes Seung's heart back.Yen wake up quickly Saito and Richard are back Katana says waking Yen up from sleep. So tell me friends where is my gift for which I sent you both there Yen looks at them and asks. Here is your gift Saito says showing the third book to Yen. Why do you have only one book in your hand where is the second book Yen looks at Saito and says. We searched there a lot but there was only one book Richard looks at Yen and says how can this be the second book should also be there you both searched there properly Yen looks at them and asks again. Bring that monk whom we have captured Saito says looking at Half Face. After some time Half Face brings Aarral in chains in front of Yen. "Tell me where the fourth book is," Yen asks, looking at Aarral. "I don't know where the fourth book is. Even if I tell you, you still won't be able to get it," Aarral says, looking at Yen. "Bring them," Yen tells his guards. A while later, his guards bring some people with them. Seeing them, Aarral's expression changes. They were Seung's villagers who had come here. "Did you think we'd hand you all the people? We kept some people out of that crowd, so you know my question, right? So answer now, won't you?" Just then, Yen punches one of the villagers hard in the face, causing the man to fall to the floor. Then, Yen punches him repeatedly in the face until his head explodes. Seeing this, the captured villagers are terrified. "I'm asking again, where is that last book?" Yen says, extending his hand towards Jinsuk. Seeing this he puts the dagger in Yen's hands and says it's your wish, Yen moves towards the other man, the man starts begging for his life by holding Yen's legs with his hands, then Yen gets up by holding his head by the hair, then raising his dagger hand, he attacks him towards the neck. Wait, I will tell you, Aarral asks Yen to stop, that book is there where the Dragon Sword is, in the White Dragon Village, now if you can get it then do it, but till then you all will remain imprisoned in this country, Aarral says looking at Yen and his friends. You think we are fools, we know that this armor has been made by the Chief monk of all the four monasteries together, after killing you this armor will break because at least two Chief monks are required to make this armor, after you die we can go wherever we want, Katana says looking at Aarral. If you think so, you can kill me, Aarral says, looking at the katana. Blood starts gushing out of his mouth. Then everyone's attention goes to the sword piercing Aarral's chest because Sook has thrust his sword into Aarral's back, piercing through his chest. You have made a big mistake, we will meet again, saying this Aarral dies. Why did you do this? You know I kept him alive for a special purpose, Yen says looking at Sook. I don't want to know anything, I just want my brother. You said that after this world my brother will come back to life, so tell me, where is my brother, Sook says looking angrily at Yen. These people did not find your brother's heart, Yen says looking at Sook. That invisible circle is still the same, Jinsuk says looking at Yen and everyone else. How can this be? We killed him, but why hasn't that circle weakened even after that? Sikandar says in surprise. Sook only killed his body. This monk has a power that allows him to enter any dead body, that's why I asked them to capture him. Yeon looks at everyone and says, "Master, look there," Master and the villagers say, pointing to the ruined monastery. Isamu then goes up and brings them all down through the tunnel. Then all the villagers sit in the wooden boat parked there and follow the path shown by Mozar. "Forgive me, I couldn't save Seung . He sacrificed his life to save us all. I will fulfill my promise. I will always protect Suan and you both, no matter what I have to do," Master says looking at Sohee and Ah-seong. "So that monk was right, we're all imprisoned here, wasn't I right?" Irish says looking at all her friends. "I don't understand, have we won this battle or lost?" Jinsuk says. "Yeah, we've lost even after winning, friends," Half Face says, taking a deep breath. "This world only remembers those who win after losing, friends. From today on, whatever we want will happen in this country. They're all here in this country. Put up their pictures everywhere. Anyone who gives information about them will be given crores of rupees, and anyone who helps them will be killed, their entire family. Announce this throughout the country. The time to hunt has come, friends," Yen says, looking at his companions. By evening, all the villagers, along with Mozar, reach a waterfall falling from the mountain through the forest. "Why have you brought us here? There's nothing here," Master says, looking at Mozar. Mozar moves towards the waterfall. Master runs to catch him. As soon as Mozar steps over the waterfall, they all see the village of the white dragon. "My real name is not Mozar, my name is Hikaru. I am the only grandson of the head of this village," Mozar says, looking at all the villagers.
