"Can you read that one story again mama!" A child eagerly awaited, tucked underneath his blankets. "With the hero!"
His mother stood at a small cubby, she grabbed one of the dozen picture books from one of cubes, and walked across the snug rug that quieted his mothers steps as she approached him.
She turned off all the lights, except for a small dim lamp in the corner that lit the room just enough so the child wouldn't get scared of the dark.
"You love this story a lot don't you! Are you ready to go sleepies?!" She pulled a small wooden chair close to the child's bed, and opened to the first page.
"Yeah! Yeah!" Practically bouncing with excitement, the boy shook the blankets as he waited.
"Do you remember the drill?" His mother asked as she rubbed his head, trying to at least make him relax.
"Yup! Yup!" The boy closed his eyes and breathed in through his nose and out through his mouth.
