The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Someone streaked forward with overwhelming speed, and in a heartbeat, they were positioned directly before Grey.


 A hand shot forward, fingers clamping firmly onto the steel blade that was now mere inches away from the prone mage's throat. 


No matter how desperately Finral leaned into his sword, he found himself unable to move it even a fraction of an inch as he looked up to see exactly who was obstructing his path.

"What are you doing?" The stage six warrior asked, his voice a low, dangerous growl that resonated with suppressed fury.


"What does it look like?!" Finral bellowed, his face contorted into a frantic scowl. 


"I'm taking his life as rightful payback for my sisters' deaths! He needs to go. Now."


Killian growled once more, his eyes narrowing with a sharp, predatory intensity.
