In the middle of the dark cold night, Nicole wakes up from her slumber. As she sits up, she feels bandages wrapped around her chest. Nicole heard footsteps approaching her until she saw someone with a red and black aura standing in front of her. It was Kaya. Nicole said, "What happened to me?" Kaya crouched down and slowly started removing the bandages around Nicole's waist while saying, "After your fight with Maria you suffered a lot of injuries. Testarossa was able to break the rift between the realms, so we were able to break through to the nether realm. I healed your injuries with my saliva, but even so I didn't expect you to recover so quickly." Nicole swiftly put on her clothes as Kaya watched her with lustful eyes. Nicole flicked Kaya on the forehead while saying, "You should focus instead of being lustful. We are being watched." Kaya's mood shifted; she stood up and said, "What? I don't sense anyone around, though. Are you sure there are people watching us?" She looked around confused before Nicole stepped outside. As Kaya stood in the doorway, she placed her hand on the space next to her, revealing a shattered space full that looked like glass. Kaya looked shocked before Nicole grabbed a soldier from the shattered space, dragging and holding him by the throat. A yellow light started to cover the soldier's whole body before beams of light started shooting out of his body before finally disintegrating into dust. Nicole said, "You weren't able to sense them because their auras are within another space." Kaya nodded back in response, and a massive amount of soldiers started to surround the area. Nicole said, "I will handle the ones in this shattered space; you deal with the rest." She walked through the shattered space before even getting a response back. Kaya smirked while saying to herself, "That woman is always ordering me around when she gets the chance." Meanwhile, as Nicole continues to walk through the shattered space, she realises that this place is made out of the purest form of mana. Nicole grabs one of the pieces of the space and says, "This mana – how did they make it pure enough to form this separate space?" Nicole had so many questions while she went deeper into the space. She continued to kill all the soldiers that came towards her, but then she started to hear a few people chanting the word T-I-M-E. T-I-M-E. She looked in shock as she noticed a massive clock face behind them. Nicole looked in shock as she could sense mana coming from all the soldiers, but she couldn't feel anything from the clock. Without hesitation she started slaughtering each one of the soldiers with a cold expression on her face. Nicole grabbed one of the soldiers that was chanting and said, "What is that thing?" The soldier was unresponsive, so Nicole altered the gravity pressure around the soldier; it felt like he was being crushed by the world itself. The soldier said, "My name is Rio, and we work for the pillar of strength. This clock is a being so powerful it is able to alter the time of the nether realm itself." Nicole slashed her twinblade across Rio's head, killing him. Nicole stood in front of the clock faces as it started to make strange noises; she felt like it wanted to break free of this place. Nicole said, "I will release you from this place; in exchange, you will work for me going forward." The clock stopped making noises as Nicole used her gravity magic to break the chains that were binding the clock. As the clock was free, Nicole stood in front of it as 4 gravity orbs started charging up as Nicole used a grand spell called "Gravitational singularity". The shattered space started to break away as multiple corpses started falling from the sky. Nicole arrived back at the small building; there were bodies all over the floor as Kaya was sitting on one of the corpses. She stood up and said, "Looks like you handled everyone in that space." Nicole nodded as she pulled a pocket watch from her jacket. She walked inside and said, "It won't be long until they find us; we must be ready." Kaya nodded in agreement as they began to prepare for more incoming soldiers.
