[3rd POV]
Staring at the second strongest being in the entire world, Morgan was...confused, incredibly confused. She hadn't expected to see Ophis anytime soon. Not until she was stronger than the current her at least.
She knew that Ophis would come eventually, she was absolutely certain she would. The entity before her wanted to kill Great Red, and Morgan was truly one of the few that could actually help with that wish. Hell, give her enough time and she could actually do it herself.
But she did not think she'd come to her when she hasn't even surpassed the likes of Hades...yet. The man was on par with her in power, and she was pretty certain that she could beat him, but again, she was not entirely certain.
But as she stared at the Infinite Dragon God, Morgan understood why she was so feared.
She couldn't even sense her. Not because she was impossible to detect, no, it was...it was because she was so much stronger that she truly couldn't even sense her power, she couldn't even comprehend it.
That was how strong Ophis was. An entity that could literally flick her and she'd die. An entity that could kill her without her even being able to fight back, an entity that was currently standing in front of her, looking up at her with emotionless eyes.
"Help me defeat Baka-red" Ophis said again, as the others looked at Ophis in confusion, as none of them had ever met her before. The only one that looked at Ophis any differently was Tiamat, who was pale faced as she knew who this was.
"Wh-" "That is quite the ask, Ophis-sama. Would you like to come in and have something to eat while we can speak of this...request?" Morgan asked, as the others paled upon hearing the name of the being before Morgan.
While Morgan just gave the short creature a smile, already having a few ideas on how she can help Ophis without having to fight against the most powerful entity in this universe, Great Red.
"...Fine" Ophis said simply, as she walked into the house, ignoring the others as Morgan calmly led her to the living room. The short deity sat down onto a couch, watching as Morgan walked into the kitchen for a few moments, before returning with a cup of milk and chocolate chip cookies.
Morgan knew that the girl had a huge weakness for sweets, even if she had never had them before. Morgan knew that the second she tried them for the first time, she would become addicted.
Ophis glanced down at the cookies before lifting one and looking at it, before taking a small bite of it. Her eyes widened ever so slightly as she began to absentmindedly munch on the delicious cookies while Morgan began.
"So, may I ask why you have come to me of all people?" Morgan asked, as Ophis looked at her.
"You're strong. Different. Strange powers not of this world. Perfect to fight against Baka-red" Ophis said, her cheeks cutely puffing as she stuffed the cookies into her mouth, before taking a sip of the milk.
Cookies continued to appear in front of her, so she wasn't going to complain.
"I am honored that you think I am so strong, Ophis. But I am not capable of fighting Great Red, not yet at least" Morgan responded, knowing that he would crush her even easier than Ophis would.
Ophis frowned at her response, which looked kind of cute considering the food stuffed in her mouth.
"However, I am quite certain that I can become strong enough to fight against him in the future. So how about while we wait for me to become strong enough, you stay here with us? You can have all the cookies and milk you want, and all sorts of other delicious meals" Morgan asked, as Ophis shook her head.
"Too loud" Ophis responded, causing Morgan to smile as she brought out noise cancelling headphones, which were made by her to completely and utterly wipe out any trace of sound. So no matter how loud the outside world was, Ophis wouldn't be able to hear a single thing.
"Try wearing these" Morgan said, as she also made sure they were incredibly comfortable and perfect for Ophis.
She had prepared for the eventual arrival of Ophis, hence why she had all this already.
Ophis looked down at the headphones that were placed into her hands, before lifting them and putting them over her ears, blinking when she realized that she couldn't hear a single thing.
Not only were the headphones made to wipe out any sound, but they were also specially made to limit Ophis's senses, which was another thing that had been bugging the entity and was the major reason she wanted to return to her home.
The dimensional gap.
Morgan was VERY interested in the dimensional gap, thanks to its name. As she was rather certain that it was related to the FATE characters and items that were appearing in this place. That the dimensional gap...
Might be a sort of gateway to other universes. The key to understanding why they were there, and if the world was truly connected to the Fate universe. And more importantly to her, if she could travel to FATE in person.
Because if she could...then she might just have to do that.
Either way, Morgan smiled as she saw the look on Ophis's face, the almost serene expression as she closed her eyes as she felt something similar to what she did in her home.
Tapping Ophis, Morgan watched as the girl opened her eyes and frowned, taking her headphones off.
"Would you like to stay here with us, Ophis? I have a nice and comfy bedroom with your name on it. And there's all sorts of fun things you can do here with us. On top of the silence those headphones will give you, you can join us when we watch movies, do game nights, and all sorts of other things. Are you interested?" Morgan asked, as Ophis stared into her eyes, before nodding slowly.
"I'll stay" Ophis said simply, as she put her headphones back on, and decided to get into a more comfy position, which she decided was Morgan's lap, as she plopped down and let out a low yawn.
Watching the Infinite Dragon God flop onto her lap and seemingly fall asleep, Morgan blinked while her peerage all looked at the dragon god, completely and utterly baffled with what had just gone down.
"What just happened?" Grayfia asked, knowing that Ophis couldn't hear them now.
"It would seem that we just got a new resident for the mansion" Morgan responded, looking down at the girl who was actually quite warm surprisingly enough, and seemingly was enjoying Morgan's warm embrace as she moved a little and nuzzled into the taller woman.
"...How did you know what to do to get her to live here?" Tiamat asked, staring at the apex of her species. All dragons besides Great Red were naturally terrified of her, as she was the strongest of all dragons, and it was only natural they'd have an instinctive fear of her.
"I have some abilities that give me...insight into certain things. And while understanding the true nature of Ophis is completely and utterly out of my power, learning what she might like and what her intentions are, are completely possible for me" Morgan responded, as this was the truth.
She could have done all this even without her already having knowledge about it. But it was a lot easier thanks to the knowledge she did hold.
"What are you going to do now that she is staying here?" Lint asked, knowing that Ophis was a huge threat. And if any of the other devils of the Underworld found out that she was there...it might cause some problems.
She didn't even want to think of the reactions of other factions..
"Simple. I'll make sure she is as comfortable as possible while living here, and that's that. With her no longer working with the Khaos Brigade - at least I assume - it's likely that they'll begin to fall apart. I'll have to speak with her about the Khaos Brigade, but I suspect she'll be willing to stop working with them in return for living here" Morgan answered, as the others looked at Ophis again.
And as they all gazed at Ophis sleeping against Morgan's chest, they couldn't help but all have the same thought, and that was...
'She's...kind of cute'
