[3rd POV]
"So the war has started? Truly?" The voice of Ajuka echoed through the meeting room. The room itself was full of the higher ups of the Heavenly Demonic faction. These higher ups being: Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka, Falbium, Yasaka, Amaterasu, Azazel, Michael, Gabriel, the leader of the vampires known under the name Alucard, Rossweisse, and a number of other important leaders that were important for the running of the faction itself.
Morgan had made sure they were all here for this, as everyone needed to understand what this war was starting for, and why they had to fight it. She also made sure that all the nobles and higher class beings were there as well. This filled the large meeting room, the same room that was used for various meetings of the growing faction and its politics.
"It has. Zeus has decided that they were done waiting, and had initiated an attack on Japan. Or at least he attempted to, but he failed miserably thanks to the wards that I have placed around the country. I have taken the liberty of also activating similar wards in all other countries that are under my control. This includes the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, Russia, Spain, France, and a number of others" Morgan explained, as the group listened to her words, before she continued.
"These wards should stop any of these pantheons from invading the lands with their divinity. But, should they all work in unity to break the wards, they might be able to accomplish it. That, or if they find the proper devices or artifacts, they would naturally be able to break the wards without too much difficulty" Morgan explained, with them all nodding slowly.
"What are we to do in retaliation?" Michael asked, tilting his head. He had not been to war against someone in thousands of years, and truly had no idea what to do in a situation like this one. Not anymore. And that war had been completely different, as it was just against the devils and fallen angels.
Not against Gods and their allies. That was an entirely different scale of war, as unlike the Great War against the Fallen and Devils, the Gods on average were far stronger, and far more dangerous.
And that was what they were going to war against. The dangerous and deadly. The ones that could kill dozens of their kind by themselves, solely because they are born so strong.
But that was the old them. The current them was better, stronger, smarter. All because of Morgan and her teachings. Because she had made sure that every devil, every angel, every yokai, every fallen angel, every vampire, that all of her people were strong and ready.
That all of them could defend themselves in the time of war. In a time akin to the one that they were about to enter against the Gods of Olympus, of Egypt, of Rome, and so many more. Thousands of Gods were prepared to go to war against them. And they were ready to the best of their capabilities.
"I have already retaliated against them. Besides Aphrodite officially joining our faction, therefore strengthening us further, I had also personally handled the force that was attempting to breach into the lands of Japan" Morgan replied, the mans eyes going wide at this as she continued.
"Most of the force is now dead. And their divinity and domains are prepared and ready to be handed out to worthy individuals in the fact. I know for a fact that I have killed at least Poseidon, Bast, Ares, and a handful of others. Although Zeus did flee before I could kill him" Morgan informed them, the group all looking at her in shock.
"You killed Poseidon? How did that happen?" Azazel asked, surprised, but he controlled his outward reaction pretty quickly, not wanting to freak out like the others were already beginning to.
"He was an easy target. And I figured that his power would be good for Ingvild to absorb, or someone else to have. Either way, it'll weaken the Greek quite a bit. I'm sure there were other Gods from their pantheon there as well, but I didn't really care enough to pay attention to that. I was more focused on killing them than anything" Morgan replied with a shrug, knowing that she did things the best she could at the time.
"And Zeus got away? But how? You aren't the type to just let someone get away like that" Sirzechs asked, curious.
"Because I placed several trackers on him. Trackers that will not only tell me his location at all times, but can also replicate itself to other Gods in the area. Meaning that I can now track everyone that he contacts that is taking part in the war with him. Like the Romans, the Egyptians, the Aztecs, and whoever else" Morgan explained, the group coming to an understanding on why she had done this.
"It was done to hunt the gods down" Ajuka said in understanding, as Morgan nodded.
"Indeed. With my ability to track all of the gods that interact with Zeus, and are actively aiding in this war, we can find and take out Gods with far more ease than before. It'll also make it so that it will be impossible for them to invade or try to invade ever again. And if they do somehow attempt again, we will be ready" Morgan replied with a small smile, pleased with how things have gone so far.
"So what, do we need to make hunting groups to get rid of the rogue Gods? Or are you going to personally take them out?" Serafall asked with a tilt of her head, as Morgan hummed in thought. She hadn't really thought about it at this point, but now she needed to.
"We'll need to make the groups with at least Satan class beings in each. We cannot afford for anyone to die in this war, not with Trihexa coming soon. We need every single fighter that we have in order to have a proper chance against the beast. So, I suppose we can make groups of three Satan class beings to hunt down minor Gods. While those that are in Super Class will go after the stronger Gods" Morgan said after a few minutes of thought.
"There can't be that many Gods that are on that scale, no?" Falbium asked, not remembering that many Gods being Super class in power, or even close to that level of power really. The strongest Gods he knew were in the room with them at the moment.
"There's more than I initially had thought. But not enough to be too much of a problem. But it is enough that we do need to do that. All of the pantheons combined are forced to be reckoned with, even for us?" Morgan admitted, knowing she had gotten her initial estimations wrong.
"And what are we going to do if the Hindu pantheon gets involved?" A member of the group asked, one of the more minor ones, a noble of the Devil side of the faction.
"If they do get involved - which I doubt is going to happen - I will personally take care of them. And if I really have to, I'll call in the big guns to deal with them. Well, more like tiny and cute guns, but you get what I mean" Morgan replied, knowing that if she really needed to, she could just get Ophis to help.
Ophis would gladly help her, since she was her mate. And she wouldn't be opposed to slaughtering some insignificant Gods, even if they were the second strongest faction in the world, and had one of the most powerful entities in the world as their leader.
Morgan herself should be able to take care of most of the pantheon, but it was more so Shiva that she didn't know about. She knew she was stronger than him, but she had no idea how the fight would go if he got help from the rest of his faction, or if he got help from the other factions.
If the most powerful Gods of each pantheon fought against her all at the same time, even she would likely struggle with it. But that was all assuming that she did not call in her own fighters, or if she did not use all of her power, which she had not done in a long long time.
Realistically there was no chance that the Hindu pantheon would dare join the war. And there was even smaller of a chance of the Gods winning this war, or even causing some true damage to them. The most they could do is cause a few minor injuries that could be effortlessly healed through a potion and that is it.
With her explanation finished, they soon moved onto working on the logistics of the war, and the effects it will have on the economy of the faction.
All the while, Morgan had one thought on her mind.
'I wonder how Shiva is dealing with things?'
