The orange-haired woman snapped at him as Alden slowly stepped out from the trees. The leaves of his makeshift clothing fluttered in the wind as he put on the most haughty expression he could manage.
"It is you who must answer, arrogant dragon."
He deliberately lowered his voice, trying to sound as ancient and unimpressed as possible.
"How dare a mere lizard disturb this King's slumber? I am the Lord of these mountains, awakened by the commotion you have caused within my territory."
He took another step forward.
"Have the Dragons forgotten my wrath?"
In reality, Alden was throwing out complete bullshit and hoping something stuck and the woman would be caught off guard.
