Before Lillian could have the chance to finish her words, she needed to dodge. With a conscious thought, Lillian transformed her body into water - avoiding the rubble completely - before reforming.
She then looked up towards the sky, finding dark tentacles peeling chunks out of the roof of the mansion before lobbing them at her - more specifically, the Flag of Reclamation.
It had devised a plan to get around the Flag of Reclamation's suppressing effects!
Unfortunately, that plan wouldn't work against her.
With a wave of her hand, Lillian began to shoot down the volley of rubble like an anti-air turret before moving on to reclaim more land from the darkness.
As time went on, Lillian found herself annoyed by her lack of progress. The more the darkness ripped apart the mansion to attack her, the more mana she needed expend to defend - that in itself wasn't that big of a deal.
However, she was wasting time.
