March 7th: "Alright, I'll explain!"
Nami: "In Tatsuki's world, the Apocalypse Game picks players. If they fail, the 'game' becomes real—and the apocalypse hits."
March 7th: "…Hey! I was literally about to say that!"
Nami: "Sorry—I sent it while you were winding up."
March 7th: "Ugh. Rude."
Exusiai: "By the way—did you guys see those super blurry things?"
In Exusiai's eyes, there were several faint mosaic blocks—and they were weird.
One mosaic block was surrounded by flames, scorching the monsters on the ground.
In reality, that was Haruno, transformed into a crimson-haired Blazing Angel, her whole body erupting with fire.
The Blazing Angel brought down searing holy flames—like an angel delivering judgment on the mortal world.
Raging fire burned the creep to ash. Violent heat roasted vast swaths of the swarm. Within several hundred meters around that mosaic block, there was nothing left.
And all the monsters near its perimeter were killing each other in chaos.
A fallen-angel succubus, Marin, stood at the center of another mosaic block. Within several hundred meters of her, the bugs turned traitor—slaughtering their own kind.
They impaled, tore, and dissolved their kin with acid. That alone showed how absurd Marin's succubus power was.
Not just humans and monsters—she could even manipulate the near-hive-mind insectoids.
Another mosaic block carved out wind blades and tornado-dragon funnels in the sky, shredding monsters and flinging them upward.
That was Chika, clearing carrots.
One mosaic block was moving at extreme speed between sky and swarm; every time it touched down, a small patch of bugs was erased—yet the swarm ignored her entirely.
That was Megumi, perfectly syncing her abilities—openly assassinating right in front of them.
There was another mosaic block launching tornadoes too, but not as violently as Chika's.
That was Eriri's Dragon Roar, her attacks weren't weak either.
Chika's wind-element magic leaned more toward slicing.
Eriri's roar leaned more toward raw-force blast impact.
Only Yumiko and Mrs. Yuigahama were firing their laser-powered rifles in chaotic bursts.
First time using the things—honestly, not shooting their allies was already a miracle.
Hai Xiaomei: "Those blurry things are probably people, right? The livestream seems to have a blur function."
Shinobu Kocho: "It does."
Seitenshi: "It really does! I never noticed before."
Kisara Tendo: "Maybe because not many people stream."
Momonga: "They look pretty strong."
Tatsuki: "They're all players with me—so yeah, they're all people I know."
Saeko Busujima: "Mm, understood. Let's not dwell on that. Talk about the Apocalypse Game."
Saeko understood exactly why Tatsuki used the blur feature.
She also guessed those were Tatsuki's girlfriends. Thoughtful as she was, she chose to skip right past it.
Tatsuki caught the intent behind her words as well—and, being just as considerate, filed it away.
Next time, he'd make sure to repay her kindness in full.
Thinking about the near-explicit hints Saeko had dropped before… next time he visited her world, he wouldn't just repay it—he might even throw an orgy while he was at it.
Tatsuki had never hosted a party like that before.
And he couldn't deny he was… a little curious.
Reinhard: "So the enemies on Mr. Tatsuki's side are those bizarre-looking monsters?"
White Blood Cell: "They look like pathogens."
Platelet: "Mm-hmm! They look super scary!"
Tatsuki: "Yeah. The enemy is them—Star Swarm insectoids."
Esdeath: "Compared to Danger Beasts, which is stronger?"
Esdeath always defaulted to comparing enemies by power.
Tatsuki: "Individually, a lot of them don't match the stronger Danger Beasts."
Tatsuki: "But the Star Swarm's real strength isn't individual units—it's the endless tide."
Tatsuki: "They eat anything, reproduce and mature at an insane speed, and can cross the stars."
Tatsuki: "In this game's setting, the entire galaxy has already been taken. This is just one planet."
Mikoto Suoh: "Sounds dangerous."
Tingyun: "T-That ecosystem reminds me of the Swarm Disaster created by the Progenitor of Plagues…"
Silver Wolf: "Yeah. Very similar."
Kiana: "Progenitor of Plagues? Swarm Disaster? What are those?"
Tatsuki: "The Progenitor of Plagues is one of the apex existences in Tingyun's world—the Propagation Aeon, Tayzzyronth. Also known as the 'Imperator Insectorum,' the 'Sand King,' and the creator of the Swarm Disaster."
Tatsuki: "Honestly… that Propagation Aeon is pretty interesting."
Furina: "Savoring a fun story before bed is very relaxing…"
That's what she said—but inside her blanket cocoon, Furina was practically vibrating with anticipation.
She loved stories from other worlds.
Kurumi: "Mm-hm~ I'd like to hear how the strongest powers in other worlds compare. Would you be willing to spend some time describing them, Mr. Administrator?"
What she cared about most was whether anyone in other worlds could kill the Origin Spirit.
Tatsuki: "Since it's Tingyun's world, it's probably better if they explain it themselves."
Bronya: "I want to hear stories about the stars too."
So much knowledge in Belobog had been buried under the Eternal Freeze.
Most surviving records were fragmentary—bits of the past, pieces about the stars and Jarilo-VI, and old ledgers.
She longed to lead Belobog back to prosperity—to return Jarilo-VI to the embrace of the stars.
Tingyun: "I only know a few scattered rumors about the Swarm Disaster and the Progenitor of Plagues—hardly worth mentioning."
Silver Wolf: "Tch. I just finished a round of a game. I'll explain."
March 7th: "Don't you have an Xianzhou mission? How are you this free?"
Silver Wolf: "Duh. I'm waiting for you guys. I already hacked the Jade Gate—I'm just waiting for you to show up."
March 7th: "Ah… haha. The Stellaron Hunters really are efficient."
Silver Wolf: "Shut up and listen."
Tatsuki couldn't help feeling that line had a Kafka vibe.
Silver Wolf: "Ugh, I'm not gonna go deep into Aeons and Paths."
Silver Wolf: "Simply put: a Path is a 'route' of power. Walk it, and you gain the corresponding power."
Silver Wolf: "An Aeon is the one who opened that Path—someone who wields that Path's authority."
Silver Wolf: "Aeons are mysterious higher existences—like living celestial bodies. Each governs a different Path, with power vast enough to erase reality and create worlds."
Tushan Honghong: "Create worlds?! That strong?"
Mikasa: "...The power of a god."
Silver Wolf: "It's not as exaggerated as you're imagining."
Silver Wolf: "Our universe isn't like the 'one continuous world' you're thinking of. It's separated by powerful Imaginary energy—one galaxy, even one planet, can be an isolated world."
Emilia: "Mm… that sounds pretty similar to the 'observation-point theory' Tatsuki talked about."
Silver Wolf: "Different, but… yeah, close enough."
