Fallon sighed, not because he was tired, not because he was hungry, but because despite all his warnings, pleas and cries, Pippa insisted on following him to the castle today.
He was not happy about it. He wanted her to remain home so she could recover, but she was so stubborn and she never listened, no she never did.
He had already made up his mind. If seeing Ian was going to make her cry and get depressed, he was not going to comfort her as she brought it on herself.
He glanced behind him. There she was, hopping along and smiling like nothing was wrong. He hated it when she pretended. He was her twin, he knew exactly how she felt despite her not telling him. He just wanted her to be alright, and he wanted peace. That was all.
"Here goes everything," Fallon muttered to himself as he opened the door to Ian's office.
"Greetings everyone," he smiled as soon as he stepped in.
"There you are Fallon, finally, we have been waiting for you," Edward laughed.
