"Should I really expect hell from these tasks? I mean, with the looks on your faces," Selene said, narrowing her eyes at her friends.
They were gathered in her room by evening again, all taking their chances at meeting with Lady Clarice. Unknowing to them, and without an agreement, they now had a time for their meetings and catch-ups: early in the morning and later in the evening.
"Oh… it's not about the tasks," Isolde said, and with a dry chuckle, she added, "I have actually never experienced any of those because I am not aspiring to be a soldier. Alpha Zephyr makes every one undergo basic training… which is not so basic, but your nature of tasks seems like it's for soldiers." She turned to Blaize for assistance, and the pack princess nodded in confirmation before turning to Selene.
