Aris sat beside Rasmus and held his hand as she transferred her energy into his body. Once she was done, she looked at the strings around Rasmus' body and noticed they were translucent and reflective, almost not having colors unlike other things.
"Do you feel something?" Aris turned to look at Rullein who was sitting across from her in the carriage.
"I'm not sure..." Rullein clenched and loosened her fists repeatedly, her gaze lingered on her black nails. "I don't feel anything, at least not that I'm aware of. Why?" She arched her brows and looked back at Aris.
"I don't feel your energy within Rasmus' body anymore, nor the Overlord's or Aristoria's. Something seems to have changed, and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing," Aris answered and looked at Rasmus staring out the window, deep in thought.
