Ermaine's fluttered open and she listened to the chirping birds outside in the garden. She felt refreshed, and it only happened when Satan was near her. She slowly sat up and saw Satan reading a book in front of the bookshelves. She smiled and slowly got up from the bed to approach Satan. The joy of seeing Satan in the same room as her again was immense and indescribable.
"Good morning, mother," Ermiane's voice was raspy.
"Good morning, child," Satan smiled gently at Ermiane and reached out to pat on Ermiane's head. "Did you get a nice sleep?" She asked.
"Yes, Thanks to you, mother," Ermaine nodded and closed her eyes to let Satan pat her head. "Are you going to stay with me from now on?" She asked.
Satan paused for a moment to read the last paragraph of the page while her hand still comfortably patted Ermaine's head. Then, she gave a simple nod, but it was enough to give Ermaine the idea that Satan would leave her side again soon.
