Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Understood It After Hearing It Once!

Kakashi patted Yoruha on the shoulder.

Then he turned and walked to the lakeside.

"Do you think I could really have made a name for myself in the ninja world with just my Sharingan?"

Yoruha walked over to Kakashi's side.

Looking at the lake, he said, "Besides the Sharingan, there should also be a highly destructive ninjutsu to go with it."

"After all, you're a Jonin. There's no way you don't have a trump card."

Kakashi looked at Yoruha and smiled. "That's right. I once developed a ninjutsu. Without the Sharingan, it was originally a very dangerous technique. But with the Sharingan, it became an extremely lethal one."

Thinking back to when he had first developed Chidori, without the Sharingan to support it, it really had been an exceptionally dangerous jutsu.

Because with the slightest mistake, the opponent could kill you instead.

Kakashi sighed.

"If an old friend hadn't transplanted this Sharingan into me, I wouldn't have been able to come this far."

Although the Sharingan did consume a huge amount of Kakashi's Chakra,

it had indeed raised his upper limit.

Kakashi's practical combat talent made up for the Sharingan's drain on Chakra.

As long as he carefully calculated his Chakra usage, Kakashi's Sharingan was a tremendous enhancement for him.

Yoruha looked at Kakashi.

Kakashi thought Yoruha was wondering who had transplanted the Sharingan into him,

so he explained, "Want to know who gave me this eye?"

Kakashi smiled.

If it were anyone else, Kakashi naturally wouldn't speak of it so easily.

But Yoruha was someone he had already decided to take as a disciple, so naturally he wouldn't hide such things from him.

In a sense, the importance Kakashi attached to Yoruha was even greater than what he felt toward Sasuke and Naruto.

Yoruha paused for a moment.

He had just been distracted.

But since Kakashi had misunderstood, he had no intention of correcting him.

So he nodded. "I am a little curious."

Kakashi sat down by the lake and patted the ground beside him, signaling for Yoruha to sit next to him.

After Yoruha sat down, Kakashi said, "After I graduated from Ninja Academy, I was too young, so I couldn't get along well with the ninja assigned to the same team as me."

"So I had to wait until the classmates who enrolled with me that year had also graduated before I could finally be placed on a team."

"In a way, I didn't really graduate early at all."

As he spoke, Kakashi laughed softly.

Yoruha naturally knew what Kakashi meant.

He had thought Kakashi would teach him a ninjutsu right away; he hadn't expected him to talk about the past instead.

But that also showed how much Kakashi trusted him. Otherwise, he wouldn't be telling him any of this.

"And this eye was transplanted into me by my friend Obito."

"Back then..."

Kakashi told Yoruha about what had happened between him, Obito, and Nohara Rin.

Although Yoruha already knew the general story, this was the first time he had heard the specific details.

"This eye is Obito's keepsake, and it has also helped me tremendously."

Yoruha's face remained expressionless, but inwardly he was thinking that if Kakashi knew what Obito was doing now, he'd probably feel pretty awkward about what he had just said.

After finishing, Kakashi looked at Yoruha. "I hope that in the future, you'll protect the friends you cherish and treasure them well. Don't end up like me. Losing a friend is an extremely painful thing."

Kakashi said that with complete sincerity.

He truly did not want Yoruha to go through what he had.

Yoruha said nothing, only nodded.

Kakashi stood up as well.

"All right, enough about sad things. Do you know why I plan to teach you Chidori?"

"You don't have the Sharingan, and this technique is clearly very dangerous."

Kakashi looked at Yoruha, wanting to know whether he understood his intention.

Yoruha thought for a moment, then said, "You think my dynamic vision is very strong?"

"Strong enough to compare with the Sharingan?"

Kakashi smiled and patted Yoruha on the shoulder. "That's right. When I tested you last night, I discovered that your dynamic vision is extremely sharp."

"It's even stronger than an ordinary Sharingan."

"Chidori is a technique that requires high-speed movement, along with extremely powerful dynamic vision."

"You can do it."

Yoruha nodded. "Still, I imagine this is a difficult technique to master."

"Correct. The learning difficulty of this technique is A-rank. Without strong dynamic vision to support it, the difficulty would be S-rank."

"Before learning this technique, your body's movement ability has to be trained to a very high level."

"And this technique also consumes a huge amount of Chakra, though that point doesn't really matter for you."

"Your Chakra amount has already reached the level of a Jonin. With your reserves, you should be able to use it around ten times a day."

"I can use it twenty times a day. Your Chakra reserves are already half of mine."

Kakashi still didn't know that Yoruha's Chakra had increased again.

Still, Chidori consumed less Chakra than Raikiri.

The learning difficulty was different too: Chidori was A-rank, while Raikiri was S-rank.

At present, Kakashi could only use Raikiri four times a day.

That alone showed just how Chakra-intensive Raikiri was.

Yoruha didn't interrupt Kakashi and listened with complete concentration.

Kakashi nodded in satisfaction. He was very pleased with Yoruha's attitude toward learning.

"Although Chidori has very high requirements, you already meet every condition. Dynamic vision, physical ability, and Chakra reserves—you excel in all of them."

"You don't need any more training in those areas."

"I can teach you Chidori directly."

"I'll explain the principles behind Chidori now."

"After you learn Chidori, I'll teach you its advanced version, Raikiri."

Kakashi had very high expectations for Yoruha.

He didn't believe Yoruha would need much time to learn Chidori.

So he directly told him that the technique after Chidori was Raikiri.

After saying that, Kakashi began explaining the principles of Chidori to Yoruha.

Compared to ordinary ninjutsu, Chidori really was extremely complicated.

As expected of a technique developed by Kakashi.

An ordinary person really wouldn't understand it just by listening, much less learn it.

After speaking for more than ten minutes, Kakashi looked at Yoruha.

He couldn't guarantee that Yoruha would understand it after only hearing it once.

"If you didn't understand it, I can explain it again. This technique is very complicated. It's normal not to understand it the first time."

Yoruha nodded. "I understood."

To keep Kakashi from doubting him, Yoruha broke down the principles of Chidori in detail. He had already grasped the exact workings of the technique clearly.

Anyone who didn't know better would think he had already mastered this jutsu for a very long time.

Yoruha really had understood it after hearing it once.

His thinking ability was now countless times stronger than before.

Especially when it came to ninjutsu.

After listening, Kakashi was stunned.

"If I hadn't never taught you before, I'd think you'd already mastered this technique for decades. You're far too familiar with it."
