Using the time Deidara bought by holding off Sasuke, Tendo Pain finally gathered his chakra. He looked at Sasuke within his Susanoo and roared, "Chibaku Tensei! Die, Uchiha Sasuke!"
Tendo Pain released a black sphere into the sky. The sphere, like a black hole, had a terrifying gravitational pull, drawing everything from the ground up into the sky. The earth was torn apart by this force, and the debris was sucked upwards.
Sasuke's Susanoo was also drawn by the gravitational pull. Soon, his Susanoo began to float skyward, surrounded by countless particles of earth and sand. This was the same jutsu the Sage of Six Paths used to create the moon.
Of course, Tendo Pain couldn't reach the level of the Sage of Six Paths. But as long as he could seal Sasuke within the Chibaku Tensei, it would be enough. In Tendo Pain's view, as long as Sasuke was eliminated, no one in Konoha could stop him.
Floating in the sky, Sasuke remained calm. His eyes transformed into the Rinnegan, and his Susanoo vanished. In the next moment, he opened a portal, creating a spatial rift in front of him, and casually flew into it.
Tendo Pain was stunned. He hadn't expected Sasuke to have such a move, nor did he expect Sasuke's spatial abilities to have no cooldown. Tendo Pain's Shinra Tensei required a five-second interval before it could be used again.
But why did Sasuke's spatial ability seem to have no such interval? In the next moment, a blade suddenly appeared in Tendo Pain's chest. Being a corpse, Tendo Pain couldn't feel pain, but he was shocked that Sasuke had silently pierced his body.
The difference in their strength was evident. Tendo Pain wanted to counterattack, but in the next moment, the blade erupted with intense lightning. "Lightning Release: Chidori Stream." Tendo Pain regretted that if the Preta Path hadn't been taken out by Sasuke, he could have absorbed Sasuke's Chidori Stream.
But regret was futile, as Tendo Pain's body was charred black by the powerful current of the Chidori Stream. In less than three seconds, his body turned to charcoal. The mighty Tendo Pain was reduced to a charred corpse.
After taking down Tendo Pain, Sasuke turned his gaze to Kakuzu and Kisame, who were fleeing the village, as well as Deidara, who had survived. With the seemingly invincible Tendo Pain defeated, the three knew they stood no chance. Staying would only mean certain death.
Sasuke glanced at the three, determined not to let them escape. "Thinking of running now? It's too late." In the next moment, Sasuke appeared in front of Kakuzu.
His Rinnegan had already transformed into the Mangekyo Sharingan. "Amaterasu." Kakuzu barely had time to defend before black flames erupted on his body, burning him relentlessly. Realizing what it was, Kakuzu cursed, "Damn it, this is Uchiha Itachi's Amaterasu."
With that realization, Kakuzu quickly disassembled his body, discarding the parts already consumed by the Amaterasu flames. With his Earth Grudge Fear technique, Kakuzu had five lives, and his body was stitched together with threads.
Sasuke was somewhat surprised. After Kakuzu freed himself from Amaterasu's flames, he immediately formed hand seals for "Lightning Release: False Darkness." In an instant, powerful lightning surged in front of Kakuzu, striking towards Sasuke.
The power of "Lightning Release: False Darkness" is immense. In the original series, even Kakashi needed to use a double Lightning Blade to barely counter it. However, this formidable lightning technique was like child's play in front of Sasuke. After all, Sasuke excelled in lightning techniques.
Yet, Sasuke didn't counter with a lightning technique. Just as the countless bolts of lightning were about to strike him, Susanoo suddenly emerged in front of Sasuke. The skeletal structure of Susanoo shielded him within.
The lightning, powerful enough to shatter enemies into pieces, struck Sasuke's Susanoo with no effect whatsoever. After a few seconds of bombardment, it dissipated. Sasuke then formed hand seals for "Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear."
Once Sasuke completed the hand seals, he raised his hand, and a bolt of lightning shot out instantly. The lightning was incredibly fast and penetrated with great force, piercing through Kakuzu's body and shattering one of the masks on his back.
With one of his masks destroyed, Kakuzu frowned, "This guy actually took out one of my hearts. But he probably doesn't know I have five hearts, right?" As he thought this, his body fell limply after one heart was pierced.
However, the scenario Kakuzu anticipated—Sasuke coming over to check the situation—did not occur. Sasuke stood with his arms crossed, looking mockingly at Kakuzu, who was pretending to be dead on the ground. After a few seconds of silence, Kakuzu felt awkward and his scalp tingled. Sasuke finally spoke, "In front of these eyes of mine, your act is utterly ridiculous."
Hearing Sasuke's words, Kakuzu realized he had been exposed. Remembering the awkwardness just now, Kakuzu became enraged, leaping up and charging at Sasuke, forming hand seals rapidly for "Water Release: Water Encampment Wall." While running, Kakuzu spat out a powerful water cannon from his mouth, its force and speed formidable.
This water technique, capable of piercing through boulders, was similar to the Water Severing Wave. Sasuke didn't choose to confront it head-on but instead dodged to the side, forming hand seals quickly with both hands for another "Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear."
Another bolt of lightning shattered another of Kakuzu's masks, destroying yet another heart. Sasuke could clearly see that Kakuzu had five hearts, and Kakuzu's attempt to deceive him was laughable, like performing tricks in front of him.
With only three hearts left, Kakuzu grew increasingly anxious, feeling that he might die here. Having lived for decades, he couldn't accept the thought of dying at the hands of a teenager.
But he also knew he was no match for Sasuke. Now, caught in a predicament, he felt extremely uncomfortable. Just as Kakuzu was contemplating escape, three iron rods suddenly emerged from the ground, piercing through his three remaining hearts.
Kakuzu was stunned, "What... what is this?" The three iron rods completely pierced his three hearts, and three lives were lost in an instant. Kakuzu had no idea who was responsible.
He looked around and saw Yoruha standing calmly atop a mound of earth. "It's him, that guy. Who is he?" Since Yoruha wasn't well-known in the ninja world, Kakuzu didn't know who he was.
Kakuzu only knew that Yoruha was strong because he had no idea where the three iron rods had come from. He hadn't even had a chance to defend himself before being struck.
