The next field unfolded like a storm. The chamber's walls bent outward, becoming a shattered canyon bathed in red light. Massive resonance storms boiled in the distance, lashing the horizon with waves of plasma.

Ava spun her dagger once and pointed forward. "We end this one fast."
Kael drew his blade, lightning sparking down the edge. "Then move."
They charged.
The ground cracked the moment their boots hit it. Columns of molten stone shot upward, carving the field into a maze. Zephyr blinked out of sight and reappeared on a pillar higher up, his voice echoing: "Targets incoming, ten o'clock!"
Dozens of resonance drones swarmed through the storm—sleek, angular, fast.
Brian raised his shield, bracing as the first volley slammed into it. "Cream Puff, cut gravity assist by thirty percent!"
