Bully
"oops, my bad, i mistakenly poured my drink on you, sorry", Selena lips curled into a smirk, with a vicious glint in her eyes, emphasizing on mistakenly, as she whispered.
this was the library so of course no noise making.
I was so surprised, not that I didn't know it was her who poured water on me but because this is a library and I don't know how she was able to get in without being discovered holding a cup of water in her hands, because the rules of the library included no taking of any liquid substance to the library, and of all places to bully me, she decided that it was going to be the library, smart move though, because she knew I couldn't retaliate, unless if the Liberian got to hear our noise she would kick both of us out.
And I could be banned from coming to the library.
I just looked at her with an blank expression, I expected her to come after me though, so I wasn't surprised at all, after all her earlier plan didn't work out.
and she wouldn't stop until she succeed.
I wonder why she even have it out for me, not like I was included in their drama, she just wants to see my and Lucy's downfall, it wouldn't work anyways as far as I keep ignoring her.
I was situated at the back of the library, so it could be quite hard to notice us due to the fact that some book shelves were blocking our path, but any noise could alert the Liberian and she could kick us out, and I really needed to study, so I just didn't bother.
"I am still so surprised, on how you show your stupid face after using guys like puppets and changing make out partners like you change your underwear, I said disgusted, I wasn't even sparing her a glance, as I read calmly.
"you!!! how dare you!", she said taking my book from me furiously, i smirked then took another book from my desk.
but then she suddenly smirked, what a lunatic, I thought.
"Little smarty pants, figured it out, wow catching on so quickly, of course why wouldn't I.
then she paused for a moment, as if thinking about what she wanted to say next, she stared at me, like some donkey before saying, "Jake was just a stupid fool looking for attention, with just a kiss I changed his perspective", she said in a whisper clapping her arms lightly as if she just won an award, I have come to realize that Jake is an idiot so I couldn't care less about it.
"When you are done with your trash talk could you please get lost", I said with a blank expression, letting her know that what she was saying had no effect on me.
she looked stunned for a moment but then shrugged her shoulders.
my hair and face were wet, I was lucky not to get water on the books on my desk, I could just go dry my hair in the wash room.
I had way bigger and pressing issues at hand than to be thinking about someone who has some problems upstairs.
She seemed annoyed.
"I just wanted to tell you that am so excited about the chess competition, next 2 weeks, hope to see you at the finale," she said then tossed the book she had earlier taken to me, a small smirk playing at the corners of her lips, something people usually got wary of, but she couldn't intimidate me.
there was an upcoming chess tournament in school and the winner gets 10 thousand dollars.
I signed up, not like I need the money but, I wanted to test my skills, I heard Selena was one of the best chess players in school, who knew an empty skull could accommodate chess, anyway I hope to see her in the finale.
"Yeah me too", I said confidently with a smug smile, and just turned back to my book to study.
~lucy pov~
I have been searching all around the school for Sasha since I finished my last class, but I couldn't find her.
I was in a deep thought thinking about where she could be, when I suddenly remembered that she loves reading in the library when she has nothing to do, so I went there only to find her there reading her books quietly in the corner deeply engrossed.
I marched up to her front, then crossed my arms in front of her like I was upset despite the fact that people were watching us, and some others were leaving.
"Oh hey, Lucy!", She said surprised that I came here.
"So this is where you have been all day?, I have been looking everywhere for you, And I even tried calling your cell phone but no response, I asked quiet oblivious to the answer.
"Um yeah, am so sorry, all our phones are switch off and with the librarian", she said and I could see she was genuinely sorry.
"It's ok love, but please can you make it snappy, so we don't miss the ice cream truck on the way home", I said to make her hurry up, cause i knew she loved Ice cream, and I have some thing to tell you", I said giving her a bit of curiosity so she would pack her stuff quickly and so we could go home.
"Ok bestie I would be done soon", she said as she began to pack her things in haste I just chuckled to myself she would never change.
Sasha pov
I was busy reading a book when Lucy came in looking upset, I was surprised because Lucy didn't like coming to the library.
and I was thankful I was fast enough to have dried my hair in time because if she found out Selena was picking on me hell would let loose here.
Then she asked where I had been since that is when I remembered that we agreed to go home together, and it was almost closing time
omg I forgot I was so focused on what I was reading that forgot, and a lot of people have departed the library so I apologized, and luckily she wasn't mad at me, so we left soon enough on the way we got some ice cream, and then I asked her what she wanted to tell me when we got back to the car and she said something that made me choke.
"OMG what did you just say!!, I exclaimed.
how could this happen.
