Basilio's POV
This guy in a samurai's armour is a god of Samurai named Sato. Nice name…
And so, we had an evening meal with him and the Shogun and his family in the main house's dining hall. As we ate our meals, Sato began telling the story of Haiteku, the god of tech. And to be honest, we were shocked and astonished.
It goes like this:
200 years before I arrived in this world, Haiteku, whose real and Otherworlder name is Inryū Asai, once made and established an empire of his own on the land of modern-day Pantano, Dacuinia, and parts of Vatrene and Falleta. Its name was the Sheria Empire, named after the bay, where its capital city, which happened to be modern-day Kawa Shing, Falleta, was located. He established himself as the Emperor of Tech and invested a lot in making Otherworlder technology more accessible to anyone, as well as gathering tech and materials from the other continents to make these technologies.
He even made the apps Sekai Stream and Isekai App during that time. (What am I even hearing from, to be honest)
But, 100 years after the establishment of the technologically advanced empire, the Vamzoms, under Ruslan Makesa's predecessor Omar Stojanovski, attacked the empire with the help of the demons of the Ravelli Territory, ransacked the place, and destroyed it. Inryū's son Fuad (in his 30th year as the emperor), alongside almost everyone else in his empire, died in their hands, but Inryū himself already became Haiteku, the god of tech, after death, before that, taking the apps and the Tech ability as his bestowing abilities for anyone who wants them. Fuad and his lineage might have died out, but remnants of it were carried on by Fuad's remaining in-laws and only 2 grandchildren, who fled to Mokuza northwest from Kawa Shing and on the Sheria Bay for a time, before moving back to Kawa Shing after Falleta retook the city under their care.
Haiteku and his family were revered and honoured by everyone in the world, and their stories and legacies were preserved and passed down to future generations to this day. The RLC, or the Reformed Light Church, canonized Fuad and his wife and children and grandchildren as saints of the church.
After that long backstory, we couldn't help but be in awe. "So that's Haiteku-sama's backstory…" my mind said while I was chewing on my sushi with vegetables in it.
Katsuko and Romana were fascinated as well.
