When Alec left, Ignis stretched his arms above his head and yawned.
"I'm going to take a nap. You're not going anywhere today, are you?" He asked Sera, then looked at Rowan suspiciously.
"No," came Sera's quick response, wondering what triggered Ignis's protectiveness towards her. Was he worried she would lose to the three crows the other day? He didn't seem concerned when she lured them out on her own.
Ignis narrowed his eyes but didn't say anything. Instead, he scoffed and left her quarters, leaving her alone with Rowan.
"Ignis didn't seem to like you." She commented once the door closed.
"And it should bother me because?" Rowan replied. "It seems to me he thinks he's responsible for your welfare. You picked up an odd lizard."
Sera arched a brow. Others would have tried to get into the fire dragon's good graces, but Rowan didn't share the sentiments. He viewed the fire dragon as if it were nothing special.
