The kids at the Academy were out for recess, playing in the yard to burn off some energy before returning to their studies for the rest of the day when Dominic arrived at the Mage Tower's back porch.
It was a lively scene, with all the younger Sect members trying to keep the kids under some semblance of control while they played.
"Elder Manif, just the man I was looking for. I needed to speak with you about a few things." Dominic began.
"Likewise. There is news that you need to hear that can't be put into the official daily reports."
"That sounds much more dire than my request for the mages to keep an eye on the groups who are moving out to the Baronies. Let's find somewhere suitable to sit, and you can give me all the details."
The Elder led him into the upper levels of the tower, where he had his office, and then spelled the room with multiple layers of defensive barriers.
"Well, this must be important. Lay it on me."
