Before his eyes, Nate's entire body suddenly became surrounded by countless tiny particles of light.
The surrounding space distorted; then, he vanished. Kai stood frozen. His mind became completely blank. 'What... What just happened?'
His heartbeat pounded violently inside his chest.
'He teleported? That's impossible! How can a human possess such an ability?'
He had only ever heard about teleportation in myths, fairy tales, and fantasy novels.
Never, not once, had he imagined witnessing it with his own eyes.
Snapping back to reality, Kai hurriedly ran toward the place where Nate had disappeared. Looking around frantically, he shouted,
"Nate! Nate! Where are you?! You can't leave me behind like this! If I'm arrested, I'll expose every piece of your core technology!"
