Aether sighed, his hands gripping the shovel as he cleared the snow around the dojo. It was a tiring job, one that made his arms and back scream. Even if he was young, if he continued to do this, he was going to have some back pain.
And yet he knew he couldn't decline the order from the old man; if he did, he wouldn't be respecting their deal.
He knew that for the time being, he was fighting so that later he could learn and be stronger, yet at the same time, he questioned if it was worth it; after all, he didn't know how long this was going to take.
Sighing, Aether put the shovel down and lay down next to it, on a spot he had cleared the snow from. The ground was still cold, but still, he was too tired to keep standing. His breath was heavy, ragged, almost as if his lungs couldn't get up.
He didn't know why, but he didn't feel all that well.
