"The teachers are coming!"
Just as Shaun moved closer to that beautiful girl, a disciple burst through the door, igniting sudden frenzy as disciples rushed to the nearest available seats.
Shaun, swiftly abandoning his thought of approaching her, hurried back to his seat beside Natasha. A hush fell over the cavernous classroom as the last of the disciples settled.
Then—they entered. Seven figures strode through the main doors, their very presence commanding respect. Five women and two men, robed in garments marked with the Silver Heaven Academy's crest, their steps synchronized with authority.
At the forefront walked Lady Grand Master Maya, who had earlier delivered the inspiring speech in the summoning hall. The disciples immediately rose and bowed deeply. Maya's sharp gaze swept across the rows of eager faces. Her arms folded, her expression stern, she began in a voice that carried both warmth and iron.
"Good morning, new disciples, and welcome to Silver Heaven Academy. I am Maya Flamefox. I hold the rank of Magistar, specialized in Flame Magic. You will address me as Lady Maya or Lady Grandmaster Maya. Any other fanciful titles will not be tolerated," Her words burned with authority, silencing even the whispers at the back.
"My subjects are Magical History and Discipline. These are not mere academic exercises—they are the very foundation of your path. History teaches us the mistakes of those who came before, and the triumphs that carved our world. Discipline forges strength from raw talent, moulding a novice into a master. Together, they will shape your magic, your spirit, and your destiny." She paused, letting the weight of her words sink in.
"For the next four years, this academy will be your sanctuary and your proving ground. Today, however, there will be no taxing lectures. This first day is meant for introductions—for you to understand who guides you, and to prepare yourselves for the path you have chosen." Her eyes sharpened, like flames flickering in the hearth.
"Do not mistake this leniency for weakness. I expect absolute dedication and discipline in my classes. I am strict, yes—but it is because I care for your growth. What you learn here is not theory. It is the foundation of your strength, the key to survival in the world outside these walls."
"Now, my esteemed colleagues will introduce themselves." She stepped aside, her cloak swaying, and gestured with a firm nod. The six other teachers shifted forward, ready to speak.

After Lady Maya's commanding introduction, she gracefully stepped aside, allowing another female teacher to take her place. A ripple of surprised murmurs stirred among the disciples. The new teacher looked far younger than anyone expected.
Short, snow-white hair caught the light like morning frost, framing a face that held both childlike innocence and quiet strength. She wore a soft pink floral hanfu, elegant yet practical, layered with a crisp white haori. Sturdy black leather shoes grounded her attire, ready for swift movement. Despite appearing to be in her early twenties, she carried herself with the dignity of a true magus.
Adjusting her glasses with a faint, nervous gesture, she bowed politely and greeted the disciples with a warm, disarming smile.
"Good morning, everyone! My name is Lily Frostveil, and it's truly a pleasure to meet all of you today. I'll be your homeroom teacher for this year. I'll also be teaching you Mathamancy and World Economy," Her voice, though gentle, rang with clarity.
"Intelligence is the sharpest weapon in any mage's arsenal. As an Arcane Rank Snow Magus, I understand the importance of intelligence, strategy, and awareness of the world around us. Whether you're mastering a complex spell or navigating the intricacies of the global market, knowledge is power."
"Many think magic is all about force or instinct. But in truth, some of the most powerful strategies and spells are born from recognizing patterns and flows—of Mana, of people, and of resources. Mathamancy is not just numbers; it is the study of magical patterns, and how to bend them to your will."
"And World Economy, believe it or not, is vital to understanding conflict, alliances, and the very dynamics that shape our magical society. A great magus must be more than a warrior. They must also be a strategist—someone who can command resources, influence kingdoms, and shape outcomes long before stepping onto a battlefield." Her gentle smile widened, her eyes sparkling with genuine warmth.
"My goal is to help you grow—not just as mages, but as thinkers, leaders, and strategists. Think of me as your older sister. You may come to me anytime with questions or worries. Like a team, we'll face everything together. I truly look forward to this year with all of you," She ended with a final, reassuring nod.
The atmosphere shifted instantly. The tension left behind by Lady Maya's stern presence melted away. In its place, warmth spread through the classroom like sunlight after a storm. Relieved whispers rippled among the disciples, and more than a few smiles appeared.
It seemed most were grateful that Lily Frostveil—not Lady Grandmaster Maya—would be their homeroom teacher.

After Lily finished her introduction, a tall male teacher with black hair stood confidently, his hands firmly placed on his waist. His black, sleeveless vest, lined with vibrant red, clung to an athletic body honed by countless hours of intense training. Paddings around his waist, secured by a sleek black sash, enhanced his formidable appearance. A white haori hung loosely over his broad shoulders, creating a stunning contrast. Black baggy pants and sturdy footwear completed his outfit, marking him as a master trainer.
"Greetings, aspiring mages! I am Edward Hamilton, your Physical Education instructor. I hold the title of Magus Rank Earth Magus."
"You see, while mastering the elements is crucial, your bodies serve as incredible vessels for harnessing elemental energies. Without strength, control, and proper foundation, these energies can overwhelm you, causing serious injury... or worse. Imagine trying to hold a furious river in a twig dam. It can rip you apart from the inside!"
"That's why our focus will be on enhancing your physical strength and reflexes. I am here to help you build that strength, through rigorous martial arts training, close combat, and self-defence strategies. Get ready to sweat and grow stronger than you ever imagined!" Edward declared, flexing his bicep with pride.
Edward—a name that resonates power and discipline. One could see the remnants of raw strength, honed over countless hours of training. He might appear a charming, erudite teacher, but rewind to his prime, on the battlefield of sheer, unadulterated strength… he was not just strong; he was a beast whose strikes landed with the force of a cannonball.
The female disciples whispered among themselves:
"Wow, is he really going to be our instructor? He's so... ruggedly handsome! I wonder if he's single?"
"Oh, those muscles! I bet he gives amazing training sessions."
"I know, right? Imagine him lifting you... Maybe I can ask him out after class… or go on a date with him!"
"Edward... such a strong name… I wish I could marry him!"
A collective sigh swept through the classroom, the boys consumed by jealousy.
"What do they see in him? He's just... big. Why are they all swooning over a middle-aged man?"
"You're just jealous. Maybe you had a chance if you ever lifted something heavier than your lunchbox, Kev."
"Hey! I don't need those oversized meatballs. I have my own charm, thank you very much."
"Yeah, charming way to hide your lack of physique."
At the back of the room, Lady Grandmaster Maya's crimson eyes blazed as she observed the whispers and lingering glances aimed at Edward. A low growl rumbled from her throat. With a sudden burst of energy, she struck the blackboard with her hand. A surge of magical energy left a small crack on the board.
"SILENCE! All of you, girls! Is this how you show respect to your teacher? Behave yourselves and show some respect for Master Edward!"
A hush fell over the hall, the flirtatious whispers abruptly silenced.
"Master Edward, please wrap up your introduction quickly. The others are waiting. We do not have all day," Maya said, keeping her intense gaze fixed on him.
"Ah, yes! Sorry, Lady Grandmaster Maya. So, disciples, we'll be working hard but having fun. I look forward to seeing you all in the training ground soon!" Edward concluded, smiling radiantly.
Lily Frostveil, standing with the other teachers, offered a nervous smile, leaning toward a fellow senior.
"Lady Maya seems… intense," she murmured.
"And every year, new disciples fall for Master Edward's muscles," she added softly, almost to herself, a faint blush rising to her cheeks.
The teacher beside her, eyes sparkling, replied, "Can you blame them? His muscles are… impressive. Remember the first time you saw him?"
Lily hesitated, looking down, a gentle pink blooming across her cheeks. "I-I just… wasn't feeling well that day, that's all," she murmured, trying to regain her composure.
Her colleague grinned, winking playfully. "Sure, sure. Whatever you say, Lily. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'm up next for introductions," she said, stepping forward with a warm smile, eyes twinkling.
