Kairn dropped onto the grass with a groan.
"I hate him."
Mira nodded immediately.
"Agreed."
Leo snorted.
"You say that every five minutes."
"Because every five minutes he gives me a new reason."
Lena sat beside him.
"To be fair, you did try punching a training construct after he specifically told you not to."
"It looked punchable."
"It was a mountain."
"It had a face."
"It did not."
"It did to me."
Eon laughed despite himself.
The group sat together after training, exhausted and sore.
For a few minutes nobody said anything.
Then Kairn suddenly sat up.
"I have an idea."
Mira immediately looked suspicious.
"Why do I feel like this is going to get us killed?"
"Because you're smart."
"Fair."
Kairn pointed dramatically.
"We get revenge."
Leo sighed.
"There it is."
"Listen. Jordan has made our lives miserable for weeks. We need payback."
Lena blinked.
