Aisha stepped forward reluctantly, her tail flicking anxiously.
"Alright." She muttered, carrying her bucket with both hands like it weighed far more than it did. "Don't...Don't be disappointed, okay?"
"We'll see." Cassius raised an eyebrow.
She set the bucket before him and took off the lid.
Inside, the amount was small, barely one-fifth full, maybe twenty percent.
Cassius tilted his head, inspecting it silently for a moment. Aisha squirmed under his gaze.
"I said don't be disappointed, Cassius!" She blurted out quickly. "I really did try my best, I promise! I tried as hard as I could to make as much as possible—but this is all that came out. I can't produce as much as Captain can, she's...she's just different, stronger than me! I swear I tried everything."
Hearing this, Cassius's expression softened. He reached out and patted her gently on the head, his voice warm.
