"But you disappeared suddenly, Master Jie said you might not come back. We thought you left because of us!" he argued, with Yan Xiaobao sighing once more. He could indeed have died well in the grave, but to scare the children like that seemed a bit too much.
"I have to continue my adventures," he patiently told the two children. "I must leave from time to time, but you two are part of my family. I would never leave you alone, and when you become strong enough, you can join me on my adventures, but you must be strong enough to do so."
