Henry's POV
"Mh..." I moved my head to the side, the sun blinding me.
The warmth around me smothered me, but the familiar smell drove me closer.
I burrowed my face in Kenny's neck, without opening my eyes.
How can anyone smell so delicious?
I had been asleep for a long, long time; I knew it instinctively.
My limbs were stiff, my mouth was parched… So I nibbled on his skin, not wanting the fog in my mind to disappear.
It brought me rare peace, silencing my emotions and my thoughts.
My memories were distorted, with the last clear picture being... a slow dance, a beautiful child growing into the most handsome man right before my eyes, and then...
And then...
My breath hitched, and I let go of Kenny, scrambling out of the bed, throwing myself on the ground beside the bed.
I raised my hands in panic and stared at them, seeing no shadowy energy nor any crystals.
"Hah..." I watched my trembling palms, pink flesh, intact skin, fingers, and palms.
