On the street, Zhang Ningzhi tugged at her scarf. Her little face was flushed red from the cold as she looked up at Jiang Nian walking in front of her.
"Hey, what's up ahead?"
"Two cars scraped each other and got stuck." Jiang Nian turned his head and pulled her closer to his side, "Let's take a detour."
Zhang Ningzhi laughed with a bubbly smile, "Okay."
The two of them were on a narrow slope, with Wanxiang City on the left and a pedestrian street on the right, both sides filled with parked electric bikes.
Beep beep beep!!
The sound of horns was constant, with arguing voices coming from the front, along with scolding from enthusiastic passersby that could be heard halfway down the street.
"The place is truly blessed." Jiang Nian turned around and sighed, "The locals are so passionate, they're even exchanging family greetings."
"Hmph." Zhang Ningzhi, holding two cups of milk tea, followed behind him, somewhat disapproving of his nonchalant attitude.
