Hearing the sudden crash and commotion from the front of the research building, everyone dropped what they were doing and ran toward the noise. And when they arrived, the scene that greeted them made every jaw drop in disbelief.
Right there, in the middle of the building, a smaller red dragon, its wings flapping awkwardly, its scales glimmering faintly like polished rubies, was perched on top of Sienna-Rose. It's smaller, but the guards and Sophia know what it is.
"Keldros." Sophia said, and started running.
The sorceress lay half-pinned beneath the creature, her expression caught somewhere between confusion and resignation. Thessaly stood a few steps away, frozen in shock, staring at the sight like her brain was struggling to catch up with whatever happened in front of her eyes.
"My wife!" Sophia already bolted forward, her voice cracking with panic, skirts flying behind her.
