Oscar made her turn, facing him and of course, Trisha masked a face of determination, almost like his proposal meant nothing, when in fact, it is the most heartwarming experience of her life.
"I proposed a relationship, although I haven't been accepted, you are not allowed to be with any other man unless it's after seven months. If I don't return till then, you can move on."
Trisha felt a terrifying emotion gnaw at her inside, almost threatening to rip itself out of her.

The both of them had only started this relationship today and yet—
Trisha felt like if he leaves today and returns, he might discover that he had never truly loved her. Which is why Trisha wanted to stick around him and make him familiarize himself with her.
But instead of showing her weakness in front of the man, she would rather pretend like she did not care at all that it doesn't hurt when he returns and tells her to break up.
