The moment Fang finished speaking, Aggron suddenly lifted its right foot and stomped heavily onto the grass!
With a dull boom, sharp stone blades burst from the ground and shot straight toward Typhlosion at high speed!
"Typhlosion! Quick—use Quick Attack to dodge!"
"Roooaaar!!"
On Delia's command, Typhlosion dropped to all fours and instantly transformed into a streak of white light as it dashed forward!
Bang!
Typhlosion was already fast, and after using Quick Attack, its body weaved swiftly between the stone blades rising from the ground. In the next instant, it slammed headfirst into Aggron's solid chest!
"Rooarr!!"
After taking the hit to the chest, Aggron let out a pained roar and staggered back two steps, a trace of anger flashing in its sharp eyes.
"Aggron! Use Iron Tail at this distance!"
After completing the attack, Typhlosion had briefly stopped in place—and this was exactly the range where Aggron's terrifying close-combat strength could shine!
"Rooarr!!"
Aggron roared angrily. Its long tail gleamed with metallic light as its massive body twisted in a powerful spin—
The steel tail tore through the air as it lashed straight toward Typhlosion!
But Delia had already anticipated this!
"Jump, Typhlosion! Use Flamethrower!"
"Roooaaar!!"
Typhlosion leapt straight up, perfectly evading Aggron's sweeping strike. Flames surged from its neck, and a raging torrent of fire poured downward!
"Rooarr!!"
The missed strike left Aggron engulfed in flames. Even without a direct type disadvantage, the sheer power of the fire still caused it immense discomfort!
"Aggron! Use Metal Burst!"
Seeing Aggron under attack, Fang frowned slightly and immediately issued another command!
"ROAR!!"
Still surrounded by flames, Aggron roared loudly as a brilliant white glow erupted around its entire body!
"Not this again! Typhlosion—use Extrasensory!"

In the previous match, Ambipom had suffered badly from this very move. Fang was trying the same trick again—but Delia was prepared!
Typhlosion immediately cut off its Flamethrower and dropped back onto the battlefield.
The moment it landed, its previously narrowed eyes snapped wide open—a surge of pink psychic energy exploded outward!

Extrasensory struck with terrifying speed, blasting directly beneath Aggron's feet!
With its footing disrupted, Aggron lost balance and toppled sideways!
The white light around its body discharged at that moment—but due to the changed angle, the blast slammed straight into the ground instead!
A thunderous explosion followed, and a huge crater was carved into the grass where Aggron had been standing!
"Now's the chance, Typhlosion! Use Flamethrower!"
Seeing Aggron down, Delia seized the opening immediately!
"Roooaaar!!"
Flames surged violently from Typhlosion's neck once more. With a fierce roar, an even more powerful inferno blasted out, completely engulfing Aggron on the ground!
"Rooarr!!"
"Return, Aggron!!"
In an instant, Aggron was once again battered by fire. Its painful roars echoed as it neared collapse—
But at the critical moment, Fang recalled it into its PokeBall.
"Interesting. Now this is fun! I'm getting excited! I originally planned to save these two as my final trump cards, but it looks like I can't hide them anymore! Go, PokeBall! Show everyone your true power!"
"Graaah!!"
Fang switched Pokémon. After recalling Aggron, he threw another PokeBall. When it opened on the field, a Pokémon clad in ancient, hardened armor appeared—
It had sharp claws, a long tail, feathered sides, and a massive open mouth as it roared toward the sky!
Armaldo stood proudly on the grass!
"Whoa! That is—Armaldo?! The legendary ancient Pokémon Armaldo?! Unbelievable! A Pokémon said to be extinct—Fang actually owns one! So this is the hidden Pokémon he's been keeping! A Hoenn-region ancient species!"
The commentator instantly recognized Armaldo and roared excitedly over the broadcast.
"An ancient Pokémon… Armaldo? Like Aerodactyl—an ancient species revived from fossils?"
Delia stared at the powerful-looking Armaldo, unfamiliar with it and filled with questions.
"Substitution complete! Fang sends out Armaldo! Armaldo versus Typhlosion—battle begin!"
"Typhlosion! Strike first! Use Flamethrower!"
"Roooaaar!!"
Though she didn't yet know Armaldo's typing, Delia didn't hesitate. Typhlosion immediately unleashed a blazing Flamethrower to probe its reaction!
But Fang merely smiled.
"Armaldo! Use Dig!"
"Graaah!!"
In an instant, Armaldo's front claws moved like blurs.
The next second, it vanished underground—its Dig was astonishingly fast, clearly the result of intense training.
By burrowing beneath the earth, it perfectly evaded the Flamethrower!
"Be careful, Typhlosion! It could attack from underground at any moment!
Right—run toward the glacier!"
Seeing Armaldo disappear, Delia immediately warned Typhlosion. Her eyes then flicked to the massive glacier at the edge of the battlefield—an idea forming instantly.
"Roooaaar~"
Typhlosion obeyed at once, sprinting toward the ice field on all fours.
But before it could get far, Fang laughed loudly.
"Haha! Now! Armaldo—use Earth Power!"
"Graaah!"
A muffled roar came from beneath the ground—
Then a massive surge of earthen energy erupted directly beneath Typhlosion!
Unable to dodge in time, Typhlosion was blasted into the air, crying out in pain as it was sent flying and tumbled across the grass!
"Now, Armaldo! Burst out of the ground!"
"Graaah!!"
Armaldo didn't stop there. In the next instant, it erupted from beneath Typhlosion, the force of breaking through the soil launching Typhlosion into the air once again just as it struggled to stand!
"Typhlosion!"
After taking two heavy hits in a row, Delia's expression grew tense. She immediately pulled out a PokeBall and shouted—
"Come back, Typhlosion!"
A red beam shot from the PokeBall, racing toward Typhlosion.
"Heh—stop it, Armaldo!"
"Graaah!!"
But just before the red light could reach Typhlosion, Fang's command rang out.
Armaldo moved in a flash, stepping directly into the beam's path!
Ding!
The red light struck Armaldo, flickered briefly—
Then dissipated with a metallic chime, the recall failing due to an invalid target.
