A dragon's roar came from behind. Feeling the shockwave rolling toward him, Liam didn't even need to turn around—he already knew Rayquaza was right behind him.

"Aerodactyl! Protect Lorelei and get her out of here!!"

Liam nodded, then turned toward Aerodactyl—whose eyes were now blazing with fury.
"Aerodactyl! Mega Evolve!!"
"ROOOAR!!!"
Liam pulled out his necklace and brilliant light surged!
Aerodactyl roared as it entered its Mega Evolution!
CRACK!!
The ice covering its body shattered instantly!
With its flight restored, Aerodactyl grabbed Lorelei again. Its wings beat powerfully, and in the next instant, the black-purple, rock-armored body shot forward like an arrow!!
