Rayquaza watched as, in just a short moment, the opponents it had nearly wiped out regained their fighting spirit. A hint of confusion flashed through its mind—but immediately after, it let out another deafening roar as a golden Hyper Beam rapidly gathered in its open jaws!
But then—
"ROOOAR!!"
Just as Rayquaza was charging the attack, the crimson glow in its body and eyes suddenly vanished! A wave of disorientation surged through it—its massive body swayed, nearly collapsing, and the Hyper Beam in its mouth dissipated instantly!
"Hm? It's confused! This is our chance, Garchomp! Use Dragon Rush!!"
After such a long battle, Rayquaza's Outrage had finally ended—and the confusion afterward had set in! Liam immediately seized the moment and gave the command!
"GRAAAH!!"
Having just recovered some stamina from Liam's transferred energy, Garchomp's eyes flashed brightly! With a furious roar, it shot forward like a cannonball—its body wrapped in sand and dragon-type energy—as it slammed violently into Rayquaza!
"ROOOAR!!"

Caught off guard and still confused, Rayquaza cried out in pain as it was knocked backward and crashed down!
"Haha! Nice one, Garchomp! Keep the pressure on—use Stone Edge!!"
Seeing the successful hit, Liam's face lit up with excitement. This was the perfect moment to press the attack!
"GRAAAH!!"
Garchomp stomped the ground, and in the next instant, massive jagged stones erupted from the earth, shooting toward Rayquaza in rapid succession!!
"Ro—?! ROOOAR!!"
But just as the stones were about to strike, Rayquaza suddenly opened its eyes! Its golden pupils flashed—
"ROOOAR!!!"
With a thunderous roar, Rayquaza twisted its body violently even while grounded! A surge of dragon-type energy erupted—just as Stone Edge arrived, it used the burst to propel itself back into the air, spiraling upward once more!!
"Dragon Dance? Damn it! It didn't fail! Garchomp, be careful!"
Liam clicked his tongue as he looked up at Rayquaza. The pressure it emitted now felt even heavier than before.
Rayquaza should still have been confused—but under confusion, moves can fail or even cause self-damage. Yet it had successfully used Dragon Dance, boosting itself and dodging the attack at the same time.
No wonder Liam felt uneasy.
"ROOOAR!!"
With its Attack and Speed enhanced, Rayquaza roared again! Its body turned into a black streak of light—like a spear plunging downward!
Its speed was terrifying—especially after Dragon Dance. Liam barely had time to react!
In the blink of an eye—Rayquaza had already reached them.

Liam stared blankly as Rayquaza slammed straight into the ground in front of them, blasting a huge crater.

Rayquaza shook its dizzy head and slowly rose from the crater, clearly disoriented.
"Heh… lost control because of confusion, huh? So even you mess up sometimes! Garchomp!!"

Seizing the opportunity, Garchomp lunged forward again with ferocity!

This time, Rayquaza couldn't dodge in time—its long body was instantly engulfed by the attack!

The stones slammed into its body, shattering upon impact as dust filled the air. In moments, Rayquaza was completely obscured!
"Nice! Keep it up, Garchomp—don't stop!"
Garchomp continued firing from its sand-like wing structures—as long as it had stamina, the stones would keep coming!
A continuous torrent of stone blades surged forward like a river of rock! But then—

A roar burst from within the dust… and instantly, agolden beam shot out!!
The Hyper Beam surged upward along the path of the stone barrage—breaking through everything in an instant and reaching Garchomp!

Garchomp was struck head-on!
Liam felt it immediately—his entire body broke out in cold sweat. The overwhelming pain made his mind go blank, and he collapsed to the ground with a muffled groan!

As Garchomp's sand-wings faded and it fell from the sky, Rayquaza burst out of the dust with a furious roar!
Its body was now covered in wounds—but its golden eyes burned with rage. It locked onto the falling Garchomp and opened its mouth again—
"ROOOAR!!!"
Golden energy gathered once more—another Hyper Beam about to fire!!
But at that moment—
"ROOOAR!!"
A roar echoed from above the crater!
Rayquaza looked up in shock and saw—
"ROOOAR!!!"
Aerodactyl had returned—carrying Lorelei on its back!
Its entire body was engulfed in brilliant white light, wings spread wide like a falling meteor as it dove downward!!
"ROOOAR!!"
Without hesitation, Rayquaza fired its Hyper Beam upward! A massive golden beam collided head-on with Aerodactyl's Giga Impact!!
"Liam!! Damn it! Aerodactyl, hold on! Come out—Alolan Vulpix! Use Hail!!"
The two ultimate forces clashed violently, locked in stalemate!
On Aerodactyl's back, Lorelei glanced downward through the white aura—and saw Liam collapsed on the ground. Her eyes widened, fury blazing within them!
She immediately released her white Vulpix!
"Kyuu! Kyuu!"
The moment it appeared, it cried out—and instantly, dark clouds formed above Rayquaza!
Then…. Ice began to fall!
Large hailstones pounded down onto Rayquaza!
"ROOOAR!!"
Rayquaza was caught within the hailstorm. As a Flying/Dragon-type, it struggled to endure the ice-type damage. Its roar faltered—the power of its Hyper Beam weakening as it attempted to retreat!
But—
"ROOOAR!!!"
Aerodactyl sensed the weakening beam instantly!
Seizing the moment, its body flared with even brighter light! With a deafening roar, it pushed forward with all its strength—forcing its way through the beam!!
With unstoppable momentum, it slammed straight into Rayquaza!!
"BOOOOM!!!"
The impact drove Rayquaza straight into the mountainside!
"Grr… haah…"
Breathing heavily, Aerodactyl pulled away. Its Mega form faded, reverting to normal.
"Did… did we win? Liam? Liam!! Aerodactyl, get down there—now!"
Holding Alolan Vulpix, Lorelei shook her dizzy head, then suddenly panicked as she remembered Liam below.
Aerodactyl nodded and turned to descend. But then…..
"CRACK!!!"
The sound of breaking rock came from behind them!
They turned and saw Rayquaza… battered and wounded… slowly emerging from the mountainside.
"ROOOAR!!!"
It let out one final, powerful roar—but didn't attack.
Instead, it glanced once at Lorelei… and once at Liam below.
Then—
"ROOOAR!!!"
With a final cry, Rayquaza spiraled upward—flying out of the crater…
…and disappearing into the sky.
