The golden Susanoo raised its circular shield and slammed it straight into the face of the Demon Realm Supreme Kai's avatar — the black spider. Thick black mist bled from the creature's body. Kuronoa, gripping the Key Sword, charged in from the flank with fluid, nimble movements and severed one of the spider's legs with a single clean stroke.
They kept up the assault, but no matter how many times they beat Mechikabura down, the man always used the Dark Power that permeated the Demon Realm to restore himself. His sanity was eroding faster with every regeneration, but his raw strength barely diminished at all.
Ino reinforced the Time Domain again and again — it made no difference. The Dark Power seeped through regardless.
She had been fighting this battle for a long time. Even with the enemy thoroughly on the back foot, the fighting had already eaten through a third of her Time Power. She couldn't keep this up much longer. Kuronoa was in even worse shape — the former Supreme Kai of Time was running purely on willpower, on the verge of dropping out of Liberation state at any moment.
They couldn't kill him. No matter how hard they hit him, he just wouldn't die.
It looked like the old fallback — sealing — was their only option.
"Alright, we'll do it your way. We'll use the Key Sword to seal him — hm? Who's that?"
Ino cut herself off mid-sentence and snapped her head toward the far side of the Time Domain. Beside her, a breathless Kuronoa looked over as well.
The blue-haired Big Loli, Aeos, tore through the spatial barrier and stepped inside with an imperious, unhurried stride. She was dressed the same as always — golden Time Crown on her head, an elegant blue robe, a red tassel belt at her waist.
Her face looked haggard. The apocalyptic vision of destruction she had witnessed still seemed to weigh on her.
Neither Ino nor Kuronoa could tell whether she was friend or foe. Both of them were on their guard.
"What kind of look is that, you two idiots? Surely you don't think I'd lower myself to associate with trash like this?" Aeos jabbed a finger at the Demon Realm Supreme Kai, then turned her glare on the two of them.
Ino wanted a straight answer. "So you're here to help us?"
"Yes."
"You have a way to deal with him?"
Aeos looked down at Ino with undisguised arrogance. "The enemies I've destroyed outnumber everyone you two morons have ever met — combined."
Ino stared at her with undisguised contempt. "Did you forget to take your medication this morning?"
Kuronoa quickly stepped in to smooth things over. "Ino, let's hear Aeos-senpai's plan first, shall we?"
The three Supreme Kais talked while they fought. Once they'd confirmed they were all on the same side, they moved immediately — a coordinated three-way assault. Mechikabura was pushed completely onto the defensive. He swung a blade of light in his left hand, a blade of darkness in his right, unleashing magic and martial technique after technique in rapid succession — and it didn't matter. Three against one. Even with two of the three in poor condition, he was hopelessly outmatched. The only reason the fight was still going was that Ino had decided she wanted him finished off for good.
Ino turned to Aeos. "Alright, as the current Supreme Kai of Time, I'm all ears and open to wisdom — what's your plan?"
The Big Loli said nothing aloud. Instead, she transmitted a single sentence to Ino through the spiritual world.
Ino's expression shifted. She stared at the Big Loli with cold, unfriendly eyes. Aeos looked back at her, utterly expressionless.
Ino weighed the pros and cons, thought it over for a moment, then said in a clear, carrying voice: "Understood. I accept. Let's work together and wipe this revolting pest Mechikabura off the face of existence!"
The Big Loli lifted her chin. "Good — you're not completely hopeless. In that respect, you're ever so slightly less of an idiot than that fool Kuronoa."
The three of them came together once more. With a colossal explosion of energy, the phantom black spider wrapped around Mechikabura's body was blown to pieces. He spat a jet of blood and went tumbling hundreds of meters through the air like a kite with its string cut — there wasn't an unbroken patch of skin left on him.
Ino didn't hesitate. Once she had made up her mind, there was no looking back.
She trained her gaze on the gravely wounded Mechikabura and raised her right hand. "I am the current Supreme Kai of Time."
Kuronoa's eyes flicked with sudden understanding — she grasped the plan in an instant. She gave a wry smile and raised her own right hand. "I am the past Supreme Kai of Time."
Aeos looked the most satisfied of all three. The gaze she fixed on Mechikabura was the gaze of someone looking at garbage. "And I am the future Supreme Kai of Time."
The Time Domain could no longer contain an energy of this magnitude. It shattered on the spot.
The voices and Time Power of three Supreme Kais of Time converged in the same instant. The energy first swept through the Demon Realm, then radiated outward in every direction, and finally the entire multiverse began to tremble in its wake.
Their power reached all the way to Grand Zeno's Palace.
Grand Zeno, who had been playing hide-and-seek with his tall bodyguards, stopped in his tracks. He stared off into the distance with a blank look and asked in his small, childlike voice, "Grand Minister, what's happening out there?"
The Grand Minister clasped his hands behind his back, his smile unchanged. "Nothing significant. It should be a minor matter. What would you like for lunch, Your Majesty?"
"I want... I want that Ichiraku instant noodles Vados brought last time!"
"Of course. Please wait a moment — I'll go and prepare them."
The two highest powers in existence remained perfectly serene.
Time's affairs were none of their concern. And in turn, time could not touch them.
The Destroyers and Supreme Kais of every universe were not so composed. Every divine being in existence was drawn in by the seismic shockwave reverberating at that moment. None of them knew what was happening — only that they could hear the voices of three Supreme Kais of Time.
In that moment, the three voices rang out with unmistakable clarity. Mechikabura struggled to resist, but the Dark Power and Light Power that had always obeyed him without question now turned their backs on him.
"Mechikabura — I erase your past."
"Mechikabura — I erase your present."
"Mechikabura — I erase your future."
Three Supreme Kais of Time, working in unison, leveraged the entire multiverse's timeline itself. Wielding the authority that time had granted them, they struck simultaneously from past, present, and future — and erased every trace of Mechikabura's existence.
The oldest Supreme Kai in history. The creator of the Demon Realm. Gone, in an instant, as though he had never been.
Not just written records, not just history books — every vestige of him vanished. It was as if he had simply never existed at all.
Those of the Demon Realm's royal bloodline — beings like Dabura and Towa — still met their respective ends, but the shape of their lives was now completely different. There had never been any such thing as a Demon Realm Supreme Kai in their lives.
"No — you three bitches — how dare you—" The screaming rage cut off in an instant. It didn't matter how much divine power Mechikabura had, how strong he was in battle. Ino touched him with a single fingertip, and his body, like a sandcastle on a beach, dissolved into nothing the moment that outside force was applied.
With the greatest threat completely and utterly eliminated, Ino exhaled a long, slow breath.
She looked at the other two Supreme Kais of Time.
These two were going to be the real headache.
Aeos fixed her with a sharp, intent gaze. "75 million years from now in the main timeline, I will come for you with the Time Token — to challenge you and reclaim what is rightfully mine."
Ino took it in stride. "I accept. When that day comes, you and Kuronoa are both welcome. We'll just hold another Super Space-Time Championship."
