Chapter 757 - Chapter 757: I'm So Angry!

Looking at the variety of powers from different origins, perhaps only in the Main God Space could one see users from so many systems gathered together.

Aside from the three who charged straight at Gilgamesh, there was a young black-haired woman standing slightly behind. Ethan could feel that she had fully extended her mental power, covering a circular area about 150 meters in diameter.

It was equivalent to a 360-degree radar. Any disturbance within that range would be instantly detected. Not only that, but this woman had also linked her mental power to all her teammates, effectively equipping each of them with a high-level detection system.

Gilgamesh's combat style was simple and brutal. He barely moved. But as a Heroic Spirit wielding the Gate of Babylon, he could launch Noble Phantasms from any location to any target.

With this mental scan, the Reincarnators would know the moment a Noble Phantasm appeared and, based on its trajectory, could anticipate and dodge or block in advance.

In front of the mental power user, there was another young red-haired woman. She held a blue lightsaber, and based on the energy she was using, Ethan was fairly certain it was the Force.

"A mental power user and a Jedi?"

In addition to them, there was a large man. Judging by his build, the nearly 2-meter-tall figure seemed like a close-combat specialist. But with a flip of his hand, he revealed a massive square weapon. From the way he raised and aimed it, it seemed to be a firearm.

The six Reincarnators all displayed their abilities and instantly formed a coordinated battle formation. Gilgamesh appeared to be in trouble.

Perhaps the Reincarnators believed that even one of the most troublesome figures in this world could be taken down with such teamwork. However, they were proven wrong in the very next moment.

Gilgamesh still hadn't moved, and neither had the expression of disdain on his face or the hands in his pockets.

Golden ripples continued to appear around him, from which all sorts of weapons were flung out as if they were worthless.

Whether it was flaming fists or lightning strikes, none could withstand this completely unreasonable attack style.

They could block the first few volleys, and it didn't even slow their advance.

But when the attacks kept coming and never weakened, even with speed-enhancing abilities, they couldn't reach Gilgamesh before getting hit by more Noble Phantasms.

The three tomoe in the red eyes spun rapidly. The user had pushed his ocular power to the limit, but no matter how he calculated it, every so-called "safe" path forward would still be bombarded by hundreds of Noble Phantasms.

Ethan watched for a while, then shook his head.

"The power gap is too large. These guys might give Gilgamesh a bit of entertainment, but they won't even force him to use his strongest Noble Phantasm."

After just five minutes, the Reincarnators had already suffered various injuries. The man wielding the firearm had donned full power armor. Much of the weapons and ammo mounted on it had been used up, but it had only slightly inconvenienced Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh possessed an almost endless supply of Noble Phantasms, which he could throw around freely. The thrown weapons could even return automatically, effectively making them unlimited. Even the weakest of them had power no less than that of a cannon shell.

"The gap is too wide. Retreat!"

The mage supporting the others with magic seemed to be the team leader. Seeing that the battle was clearly one-sided, he immediately gave the order.

He pulled out a scroll and tore it decisively, but his expression changed drastically.

The scroll that should have transported them out of this world did nothing. It tore like an ordinary piece of parchment and simply floated to the ground.

"This..."

He stared at the fallen scroll, completely unable to comprehend what had happened. This was a team-bound escape scroll exchanged from the Main God Space. Once activated, it should have returned them all to the space.

Items from the Main God Space had never malfunctioned before. He truly couldn't understand what went wrong.

"Hmm?"

Gilgamesh glanced at the scroll and instantly understood its purpose.

Just as the mage was about to retrieve another one, a chain shot out from a golden ripple nearby, coiled around the scroll, and yanked it away.

Gilgamesh finally took his hand out of his pocket. A golden ripple appeared above his open palm. The captured scroll dropped from it into his hand.

He examined it for a few seconds and quickly understood what it was.

"So, they're servants of gods?"

The function itself wasn't unusual. What intrigued him was that it carried the aura of a god, and Gilgamesh had no fondness for gods at all.

He was only curious why god-servants were showing up in this era. If his memories were correct, there should be no active gods in this age.

After examining it a bit longer, he finally came to a conclusion.

"Gods from another world?"

In that case, the scroll made sense.

"Interesting."

Ethan saw Gilgamesh suddenly pause and knew that this guy was up to his old tricks again.

Gilgamesh was notorious for his unpredictability in the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars. In his eyes, very few things were worthy of serious attention. Most of the time, he watched events unfold like a spectator.

At this moment, the appearance of servants of otherworldly gods intrigued him. After all, he could kill them whenever he wanted. Watching them struggle before dying seemed more amusing.

"Entertain me. If you can amuse this King, perhaps I will bestow a reward upon you mongrels."

He was just about to toss the scroll into his treasury. In Gilgamesh's mind, "What is mine is mine, and what is yours is also mine." So, putting something that "belonged" to him into his treasury was perfectly natural.

Just as he was about to store the scroll and let the others continue to struggle, an arrow came flying out of nowhere and struck the mage directly.

Boom.

The violent explosion and the towering flames stunned everyone. The Reincarnators immediately fell into chaos.

"Where's the enemy?"

"I don't know! Nothing's showing up on my scan!"

What they didn't know was that their team's chat channel had long been infiltrated. Ethan had been lurking there, silently listening to their conversations to gather information.

As for the sudden change in the battle below, that was also Ethan's doing.

Seeing Gilgamesh getting distracted again, Ethan directly sent a message to this world's Inhibitor.

The content was simple: a group of god-servants from another world could pose a threat to this world.

What happened next was expected. The Inhibitor immediately dispatched its enforcer. Since the Reincarnators were trapped in Ethan's Mirror Dimension, he had to let the enforcer in manually. Not a problem, since this person was an old acquaintance.

The moment Emiya entered, he fired an arrow from over a thousand meters away, aiming straight at the caster.

In his mind, casters were the most dangerous. If he could eliminate them first, he would.

Because he habitually sniped from extreme range, far beyond the detection radius of the mental power user, the Reincarnators never saw it coming. The mage was killed instantly.

Unlike Gilgamesh, Emiya had no intention of playing around. His job was to eliminate threats to the world. He wouldn't hold back and had no issue using any method, even sneak attacks.

Gilgamesh looked at a fragment blown his way by the explosion and frowned, as if he had seen something disgusting.

But he had no time to be annoyed about that now, because another person had appeared and caught his attention.

He saw the scroll he had intended to toss into his treasury now in the hands of a stranger. Gilgamesh scrutinized the young man who had suddenly appeared.

He hadn't sensed when or how this person had arrived, and what baffled him even more was how the scroll had been taken from him.

"Who are you?"

Gilgamesh stared for a long time but saw nothing. All he could detect was a faint aura from the man—an aura he instinctively disliked.

Ethan didn't respond. Instead, a ball of blue and white divine power blasted toward Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh had intended to question him further, but the shadow of death suddenly enveloped him. Acting on instinct, he unleashed his strongest Noble Phantasm.

Red energy burst out violently as he swung, but the energy only managed to push back the blue-white sphere slightly before being quickly suppressed.

What infuriated Gilgamesh the most was that he had used all his strength, while the other man still had his hands in his pockets, watching him like a spectator.

Just like he had done earlier.
