Ryuta, Alexia, and Roy had a conversation that led them to stumble upon someone who matched the description of a person being summoned. Curiosity piqued, they decided to follow him. Their pursuit brought them to the main gate of Center World, a crucial place where the leader resides and oversees the country or society.
Just as the man they were trailing was about to enter the gate, they managed to confront him and asked whether he had been summoned as well. He replied, baffled, that he had no idea what they were referring to.
"Who are you, and what's this nonsense about summoning? It's just a bunch of theories that have never been proven. Don't drag me into your fantasy," he responded dismissively.
"I'm really sorry, and thank you," Ryuta said, trying to be polite despite the tension.
As they walked away, a piercing scream echoed behind them—a sound filled with agony. They turned to see the man they had just spoken with engulfed in flames, quickly turning to ash. They rushed to help, but it was far too late. Overwhelmed by guilt, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were in some way responsible for his death.
Roy clenched his fists, his voice rising in anger. "Who set him on fire?!"
Ryuta glanced at Roy, noting the horror etched across his face. Minutes later, the body completely disintegrated, the ashes scattering into the air. They left the scene in shock, their minds racing with questions about the tragic event and who could be behind it.
Back home, they tried to piece together what had happened and investigate whether such incidents had occurred before. While Ryuta and Alexia set out to gather more information, Roy decided to stay back and rest.
Alexia asked everyone she encountered about any prior occurrences like this, but no one could provide any answers.
Hours ticked by, and Ryuta planned to meet Alexia to share what they had discovered. However, the meeting never took place. Exhausted and yearning for rest, he opened the door only to find Alexia and Roy slowly turning to ashes, with a cloaked figure standing ominously nearby.
In a frantic attempt to save them, Ryuta hurried to get water from the well and poured it over their bodies, but the flames continued to blaze, unaffected by his efforts.
"Why, why, why? What did I ever do to you?!" he shouted, desperation edging his voice.
"You crossed a line you should not have," the hooded figure replied coldly.
Moments later, the cloaked man ignited the entire house, engulfing Ryuta, Alexia, and Roy in flames.
