The grand voice did not seem particularly immense, yet strangely, it spread across the entire island. Every Marine, civilian, and even those whose freedom had been restricted by the Marines heard those words echo within their hearts.

In an instant, hope erupted. Flames of light ignited in people's eyes.

Deep within the Marine base, atop the platform of a military building,

A red carpet, golden tables and chairs, and wine as crimson as blood swayed inside crystal goblets. The cold-faced man, Anuki, was listening to the reports from his subordinates, his gaze indifferent, like a god looking down from above.

"Fleet Admiral-sama, this month's harvest is twice that of last month. Compared to before, our profits are continuing to grow."

"This is a very good trend."

The Marine wearing a Vice Admiral insignia adjusted his glasses and smiled as he spoke.

"Hm! And what about those damned civilians? Are they still unwilling to join our noble Marines?"

Anuki asked coldly.

"Please rest assured, Fleet Admiral-sama. Those unwilling to join us have all been locked inside the sunless underground prison. We've cut off their food and water. Those lowly insects won't be able to hold out much longer."

The Vice Admiral sneered.

"And even if they do endure, they'll eventually die little by little."

Anuki nodded.

"Anyone unwilling to join my Marines deserves death. You've done very well."

"Thank you for your praise, Fleet Admiral-sama."

The Vice Admiral bent over happily.

"After spending so much time, I've finally brought this island completely under my control. At present, our military force has already reached fifty thousand men."

"Next, I will expand outward. The entire world will become my power and be trampled beneath my feet."

Anuki drained his wine in one gulp and laughed cruelly.

"Only with more soldiers and more laborers can I gain more money and more power!"

"Fleet Admiral-sama, you are already incredibly mighty."

The Vice Admiral flattered him immediately.

"You speak well, though you are foolish."

Anuki nodded.

"If I weren't outstanding, how could I have become the Fleet Admiral of this island?"

"A righteous Marine must use me as a role model in order to improve. How is the matter of erecting my statues in the island's recruit training grounds progressing?"

"Fleet Admiral-sama, your subordinate completed that task long ago. All one hundred and thirty-five training grounds have statues of you standing within them."

The Vice Admiral smiled as he replied.

"And every statue stands fifty-three meters tall. No matter where they are on this island, you will be looking down upon them."

"Excellent!"

Anuki nodded in satisfaction. He liked capable subordinates who handled matters without causing him concern.

"Next, I shall rule the world. First, I will unify the entire East Blue, wipe out all pirates and scum, then conquer the Grand Line. In the end, even the World Government will tremble beneath my feet!"

"The might of Fleet Admiral-sama will surely force the world to bow."

The Vice Admiral quickly lowered his head and knelt before Anuki.

However, just as Anuki was about to nod, a voice suddenly echoed over, followed by a chaotic mixture of sounds.

Those voices belonged to Rojen and his group.

"What's going on?"

Hearing the disturbance, the smile on Anuki's face instantly turned cold.

"Please rest assured, Fleet Admiral-sama. Your subordinate will handle everything for you!"

The Vice Admiral immediately knelt down, sweat covering his face as he shouted loudly.

"Now get lost!"

Anuki roared.

The Vice Admiral hurriedly got up and ran out, then quickly blew the whistle to summon the soldiers.

In an instant, all the Marines across the island were alerted. They rapidly surged toward the location where Rojen and his group were.

On this island, if one refused to submit to Fleet Admiral Anuki and become a glorious Marine, carrying out all kinds of disgusting and cruel deeds for the Fleet Admiral, then the only thing awaiting them was death.

Da! Da! Da!

Just after the voices of Rojen's group fell silent, dense footsteps echoed from every direction of the streets, accompanied by loud shouts.

"Sounds like quite a lot of people are coming."

Jason said in surprise.

"Quite a lot? It's more like far too many!"

Trens' expression became serious.

"No matter how many come, they're all just going to die."

Crocodile exhaled a puff of smoke and sneered.

"Didn't you hear? According to that child and the refugee, most of the Marines on this island were probably forced to join."

Lordling rolled his eyes.

"In all my years, this is the first time I've seen something so absurd, someone actually forcing civilians to join the Marines."

Daz Bonez looked rather strange as he spoke.

"It's the first time for all of us. But Marines scum like this are exactly the kind we should deal with, aren't they?"

Rojen smiled faintly.

At that moment, large groups of Marines came rushing from the ends of the streets and alleyways. The crowd was densely packed, like ants relocating during a rainstorm, numerous and frantic.

"We're short on time. Once we finish things here, we'll head to the next place."

Stepping forward in large strides, Rojen headed directly toward the depths of the island.

"Stop! Who are you people?! If you do not halt immediately and submit yourselves for punishment, we will open fire!"

The reinforcing Marines shouted loudly as countless rifles were instantly aimed at Rojen and the others.

"Punishment? Even if Sengoku himself stood before me, he wouldn't dare calmly say such words."

A smile appeared on Rojen's face as he continued forward slowly, but at that moment, his aura rapidly changed.

Powerful. Tyrannical. Sharp.

A terrifying pressure that shook the hearts of men burst forth wildly, as though a lion or tiger had been released from its cage, unleashing a heaven-shaking roar.

Thump!

Something horrifying suddenly happened before the Marines' eyes. Those standing in the rear were stunned to discover that rows upon rows of Marines in front of them were collapsing, as if someone had punched them in the back of the head.

"What happened?! What's wrong with them?!"

The Marines cried out in terror.

But no one answered him. As Rojen advanced step by step, vast numbers of Marines fell like wheat being harvested.

Rojen's Haoshoku Haki had already reached the realm where it could be controlled freely like that of an Admiral. His dragon-like intimidation was naturally impossible for these civilians, who did not even qualify as true Marines, to withstand.

Tap!

The sound of footsteps rang crisply.

After only three steps, the streets were already covered with fallen bodies.

All of the reinforcing Marines were terrified. This bizarre scene was beyond their comprehension.

"Can somebody tell me what the hell is happening?!"

A terrified Marine shouted toward the sky.

The moment his words fell, the wall to his left suddenly split open as though struck by a slash.

Then the Marine's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed limply onto the ground.

Under Rojen's overwhelming dominance, not a single person could withstand that power.

By the time he arrived before the Marines, there was not a single one left standing in front of him!

Such overwhelming dominance, such terrifying Haoshoku Haki…

Even an army of ten thousand standing before him was as though no one was there at all!
