The two invaders looked around with a bit of curiosity, as if they knew the village, but at the same time, they didn't. Naruto watched them from behind, very carefully.
These two couldn't speak, because they knew the clones would immediately hear. And they preferred to speak carefully about what had happened to them, enough to make them appear in the center of Konohagakure no Sato. The younger one, the boy, looked at the Naruto clones in surprise, and occasionally glanced at the real one.
When they finally arrived at the Hokage building, they were stared at by all the shinobi and villagers inside. Their expressions ranged from curiosity to some with a touch of fear, perhaps thinking they were enemies or dangerous people. On the top floor, Shizune was waiting for them.
"Tsunade-sama saw you arriving. You may come in, Naruto-kun."
"Thank you..." Naruto nodded seriously before opening the door, revealing Tsunade and Hinata.
Naruto frowned and looked at Tsunade. And she, understanding what he was thinking, simply shook her hand.
"Your Byakugan might be useful, Naruto."
"Who are you, though?" Tsunade narrowed her eyes and asked seriously. "You didn't just appear in the village out of nowhere. You were also exhibiting dangerous levels of chakra."
Tsunade looked at them, especially at the boy. He looked too similar to the person behind them. His blond hair and blue eyes, especially the marks on his cheeks.
"It might be hard to believe, but we're from the future. Or so we think for now."
"From the future?" Tsunade snorted in annoyance. "And what do you mean, 'think' for now?"
The adult man reached inside his cloak and pulled out a turtle. Or at least, that's what it looked like.
"Thanks to this, we traveled through time," he said before looking at the turtle-shaped tool.
"No. That's wrong," the turtle spoke, surprising everyone.
"A summoning?" Tsunade asked, but the man shook his head.
"It's a tool. At least that's what we know from the research."
"But what do you mean it's wrong? You said it yourself when we arrived, we traveled back in time."
"That's what I thought. But it's wrong," the turtle replied. "As a tool created by the Ootsutsuki clan, it can understand what I do to a certain extent. When we were on the journey, I felt an enormous amount of energy imbued within me. Now, however, after spending a few moments in this place, I can say that the journey went incorrectly."
"Did they really travel to the past?" Naruto asked, frowning.
"To a certain extent," the turtle said. "What always happens when I'm used is that you travel back in time. Now it's different. That enormous energy caused a change. As a result, we jumped to a parallel timeline to the one these two who came with me belonged to."
"Are you saying... that we traveled to a parallel timeline?" the man asked, surprised and a little dumbfounded.
"You're right."
"Who are they really?" Naruto decided to ask, knowing the man's face looked like something out of nowhere.
The boy looked at the adult, nervous to answer, but the latter just nodded seriously.
"I'm Uchiha Sasuke."
"Oh, shit..." Naruto cursed, looking at the now-recognized Sasuke.
"And you?" Tsunade decided to ask the boy. But now she was feeling a nagging headache.
"Uh... I'm... Uzumaki Boruto."
"Uzumaki?" the three from this time asked, surprised.
"He's Naruto's son, at least in our timeline," Sasuke replied before sighing in annoyance. Not only had they lost their target, but they found themselves in a truly awkward and perhaps difficult-to-resolve situation.
"Who is the enemy?" Naruto immediately asked, displaying an extremely serious expression.
"Do you believe us-ttebasa?!"
Naruto's eyebrow twitched slightly at the tic, which now seemed to be hereditary, albeit with minor changes.
"I can't sense any lies in Sasuke's words."
"Hinata?"
"Either he's good enough at lying, or he's telling the truth. There were no sudden changes in his heart rate."
"See?" Naruto asked, looking at Boruto with a small smile. "I can tell when someone's lying. And if what Sasuke said is true, then this enemy is too dangerous."
Sasuke nodded, glancing sideways at Naruto. What he knew seemed to differ from what he was seeing. Naruto was behaving more seriously. But if he thought about it, that wasn't so impressive, especially since he now knew this was an alternate timeline.
"What enemy are you talking about?" Tsunade asked with a grunt.
"Ootsutsuki Urashiki..." Sasuke replied and explained the reasons and objectives behind this person who was an enemy of the world. He explained what the Otsutsuki clan was and how they invaded planets to become stronger by planting chakra trees. He also explained about the Fourth Shinobi World War and the more important things involving said clan and the shinobi world.
"I see..." Tsunade nodded. Now that she knew this to be true, then the village could be in danger. She had no reason to doubt it, especially when she had Hinata, and especially Naruto listening.
"But... To think that a Fourth Great Shinobi World War would break out."
"No, that won't happen here," Naruto declared, receiving a glare from everyone.
"Uchiha Obito is dead. Shimura Danzo is dead. Kuro Zetsu, as you call him, is also dead. The main culprits mentioned for everything to come together and happen are all already dead. The only thing left that could cause trouble is the Akatsuki and the Ootsutsuki clan themselves."
"Dead? How did they die?" Sasuke asked, looking in surprise between Naruto and Tsunade.
"Naruto took care of them," Tsunade replied before grimacing. "When you were captured by Naruto—I mean, the Sasuke here—that's when Obito and Danzo showed up." I don't know what the Uchiha wanted with you, but Danzo apparently didn't want Obito to get caught."
"It was the first time I saw Naruto truly upset and angry. Danzo died while we were fighting him, but Obito died at Naruto's hands."
"Hey, when you have the person responsible for your parents' deaths standing in front of you, you can get all angry! Don't describe me as someone who likes to kill his targets!"
Sasuke was truly surprised now. Naruto wasn't one to kill so easily. Maybe he was really angry when all that happened.
"This Urashiki... he could appear at any moment, right?" Hinata asked, a little worried.
"Yes..." Sasuke replied. "He has the ability to use space-time ninjutsu, in addition to possessing the Byakugan, which actually originated from his clan, but so is the Rinnegan, so we have to be careful."
The three from this timeline immediately frowned.
"I'll call a meeting of the council and each of the clan leaders!" Tsunade proclaimed decisively.
"Is that wise?" Sasuke asked with a frown. "I don't think they'll believe me that easily."
"You have that turtle-shaped tool, and the blond brat is also there. Besides, Naruto will be present. You can't lie in front of him."
"... Fine," Sasuke nodded before sighing in resignation.
"Hinata, would you please inform your father?"
"Of course, Hokage-sama," Hinata nodded before bowing and leaving as she bid Naruto farewell.
At that moment, a growling sound came from Boruto. The blond youth blushed slightly before coughing.
"Looks like all this time displacement stuff has made you hungry," Naruto raised an eyebrow with a smirk. He took out a scroll before removing the sealed items. I hand him a cup of instant ramen.
"Hang on with that for now."
"But how do I heat it up?"
Naruto raised both eyebrows and asked, "Can't you use low-level katon and suiton jutsus?"
"Uh... I don't know of any that can give me a small amount of hot water."
Naruto nodded before forming four hand seals and raising his hand, forming a small ball of water and carefully dropping it into the ramen cup that Boruto quickly opened. He then picked up the bowl, and steam immediately began to rise from the cup before Boruto replaced the lid without fully opening it and placed his hand over it to warm it for a few minutes.
"How did you warm it up?" Boruto asked, slightly surprised.
"It's a low-level jutsu. It warms up a part of your body. It's not lethal or particularly useful in battle, but it can be useful when you're cold, or when you're like this."
"Thanks... old man?"
"Oi, I'm not old enough for such words yet..." Naruto grunted in annoyance. He was in his youth! Okay?! There was no way he was an old man! Naruto thought and shouted in his mind, causing Kurama to let out a small laugh.
"Naruto?" Naruto turned his head to Sasuke, who seemed to look at him with familiarity, but also with a certain degree of confusion and unfamiliarity. For him, who had walked away and then been beaten back to the village, it was a little difficult to see a Naruto who seemed more serious, perhaps even cold in some interactions. What he didn't know was that to Naruto, he was a complete stranger, so he wouldn't behave in a familiar manner.
Well, though, that could also be a difference between the two Narutos.
"What?"
"Your strength levels... what level are they?"
"Why do you ask exactly?"
"If we have to deal with Urashiki, I'd like to know at least what level you're at. This enemy could be unlike anything you've ever faced."
"..." Silent for a few moments, Naruto considered spilling the beans about his strength, but Tsunade was getting ahead of him. She opened her mouth and answered Sasuke.
"If it's just ninjutsu, then Naruto completely outclasses me," she said seriously.
"You can put him at Kage level, if you want."
"That's not much use," Sasuke grunted a little. "Urashiki could be on the same level as one of his clan allies who also attacked. And they can easily handle Kage-level shinobi."
Naruto sighed a little. Talking about his abilities might be a small matter compared to defending the village and its villagers as a whole, was what he was thinking.
"I can use Mokuton, and I can also enter Sage Mode, but only for a few minutes. My physical strength is equal to or greater than that of Obaa-chan Tsunade. I can use Hiraishin no jutsu and a wide variety of Suiton, Fuuton, and Doton ninjutsu. My senses are superior to most, to the point of knowing if someone is lying or sensing their emotions if I concentrate more. I can summon large toads, and my chakra capacity is five times that of Obaa-chan Tsunade. This doesn't even count the Kyuubi."
"You can use Mokuton-ttebasa?!" Boruto exclaimed, trying not to choke on his noodles.
"Yes..."
"I see..." Sasuke nodded, not all that surprised. He knew Naruto was Ashura's transmigration, and if he was also Ashura in this place, then perhaps it wouldn't be so strange that he was a Mokuton user. That was what was going through the Uchiha's head, but he also understood that Naruto was much stronger than the Naruto from his timeline at that age.
Tsunade grunted a little, especially since she was being used as a comparison. She couldn't help but feel that Naruto was a little absurd when it came to talking about his abilities. He said it so easily it almost seemed like a lie.
But this wasn't the time to get too upset over small things; she had to send the call to the rest of the clan leaders within Konoha.
