Chapter 93 - Aeternum: Chat Group Chapter 93: Mission of the displacement displacem

The moon hung high in the night sky. The village of Konoha remained silent. Its bustling streets seemed nonexistent this day. The only things to be seen were Jonin, Chunin, and ANBU carefully patrolling, searching for anyone who might have been left behind in the retreat to the shelters.

It was somewhat unsettling, as not even the wind or the rustling of leaves could be heard. Everything was completely and utterly silent, a silence that not even the Shinobi dared to break; their movements were cautious, their instincts on high alert.

But, in that moment of perpetual silence, a single figure appeared before the moon. His white eyes observed everything with a certain curiosity before a smile formed on his lips. He slowly descended onto a building and turned his head slightly, glancing behind him.

"Are you still hiding? You should know by now, Uchiha Sasuke... My eyes can see everything," Urashiki spoke slowly, but his tone never seemed bored; rather, it was brazen and somewhat amused. His posture remained relaxed as he watched Sasuke appear, standing behind him with a cold stare.

A few meters to Sasuke's left, Naruto appeared, arms crossed, looking seriously at the Otsutsuki. Urashiki, seeing Naruto, raised his eyebrows before his smile widened.

"Was I wrong? It seems I ended up a few years later than I thought!" Urashiki turned slowly, looking at Naruto with a touch of curiosity. He could sense that he wasn't as weak as he had expected, but that didn't worry him in the slightest.

"Sasuke told me you considered yourself a god," Naruto said, looking Urashiki up and down. "I'm sorry if I doubt that, I can't sense such a thing."

"Hahaha! Of course you wouldn't sense it!... An inferior creature isn't capable of such a feat."

"So your soul has already ascended to a higher plane?" Naruto asked, raising an eyebrow. Urashiki, who heard this, became more serious, glaring at Naruto.

"How do you know that?"

"So it really is like that. It seems they simply consider themselves gods, like other races that don't have as much power as they do. Uh... that's a bit pathetic; just stroking their egos for nothing..."

Naruto knew something about gods, especially with Rias around. He had already heard about what was happening to his sworn sister while Harry explained it more clearly from the sidelines. Besides, if something like other universes and worlds existed, Naruto stopped thinking that his planet was the only one that harbored life, or that they were even the only race. Thanks to that, he was able to draw some conclusions when he observed Urashiki.

The methods might be different, but they all seemed to lead to the same end: the sublimation of the soul and the subsequent ascension to a higher plane to become a god. It didn't seem to matter which universe it was in; it all seemed to lead to the same end: conversion to divinity.

"Looks like I need to take you more seriously, Uzumaki Naruto. And even though I have no idea how you got that information, I'll get it out of you when I torture you to death."

Naruto smiled as he raised his head slightly, mocking Urashiki.

"You can try, you little alien who isn't a god."

Sasuke was simply listening, but his gaze remained fixed on the enemy. His sword was in his right hand, his body poised to react to any movement. He didn't complain about Naruto's words because they were necessary. As Naruto spoke, he was entering Sage Mode. And hidden throughout the village were several clones gathering natural energy, just in case.

The three fell silent, causing the village to return to its perpetual hush before they vanished and found themselves together on the rooftop. Urashiki grinned, baring his teeth as he blocked a kick from Naruto and Sasuke's sword with his hands. The fingers of his left hand gripped the blade of Sasuke's sword tightly, while his right forearm held Naruto's kick in check.

Two clones suddenly appeared, attempting to strike Urashiki. He was forced to retreat as Sasuke advanced, brandishing his sword once more. The moment Sasuke approached, Naruto unleashed his Conqueror's Haki, focusing it solely on Urashiki.

It lasted only a couple of seconds, but the Otsutsuki was stunned enough for one of Naruto's clones to kick him in the back, allowing Sasuke to slash toward his head. Unfortunately, Urashiki's head moved to the side, causing the sword to only graze his cheek and draw a small amount of blood.

"Tch..." Clicking his tongue, Urashiki summoned his fishing rod and struck the clones with a single blow. It was a bad move; they exploded instantly, sending him flying several meters backward and off the roof. The building's roof collapsed, creating a deafening roar as dust billowed into the air.

At that moment, Naruto and Sasuke shot out from the dust cloud. Their speed was breathtaking as they attacked from opposite sides. Urashiki blocked a blow with his hand while kicking a portion of Sasuke's blade, deflecting it from its target. The Ootsutsuki clan member's movements were incredibly precise and powerful.

Naruto inhaled sharply before spitting out a large jet of pressurized water. This was Suiton: Suidanha, a Suiton ninjutsu capable of piercing and cutting through even the hardness of Mokuton.

Naruto had already realized that they weren't draining his chakra through physical contact. Rather, it was something Urashiki could use with his cane. But if that was the case, then he wouldn't be able to absorb ninjutsu if it was fast enough or if the target was too small or thin.

Urashiki frowned at that moment and rose into the sky, noticing how Naruto's technique had sliced through buildings and part of the ground. That could have been dangerous if it had reached him, he realized.

At that moment, another clone appeared. Urashiki was astonished by the incredible speed, which he couldn't even fully grasp. These were Naruto's celestial steps, the ones that allowed him to travel through the air with his kicks.

"But it's just another clone..." Now that he was concentrating and taking the battle more seriously, Urashiki noticed Naruto's clones without much trouble. But Sasuke took advantage of this clone and used the Rinnegan, switching positions with the clone and successfully striking Urashiki with his fist engulfed in Chidori.

The sound of a thousand birds echoed through the village before the blow connected with Urashiki's cheek, sending him crashing to the ground in a cloud of dust and shattering a large section of the pavement.

Naruto leaped at Urashiki, throwing his Tantou with all his might, but frowned when he heard the clang of metal hitting the earth and rocks. At that moment, Sasuke descended as Naruto landed beside him, watching the dust settle and reveal Urashiki on the ground; his head tilted to one side, Naruto's Tantou embedded just inches from his cheek.

"Heh... Hehehe... You're much more interesting than I thought, Uzumaki Naruto!" Urashiki placed his hands to the side of his head before gathering a little momentum and leaping up. His head tilted to one side as his Byakugan changed color and concentric waves appeared, revealing his Rinnegan.

BOOM!

"Naruto!" Sasuke exclaimed, turning his head and looking behind him. Urashiki had struck Naruto, who managed to block with his arms, but was still pulled back by the momentum. Urashiki followed, his fist still clenched tightly against Naruto's forearms, which formed an X in front of his face, as he infused them with Haki.

"Ugh..." Naruto groaned in pain, glaring at Urashiki.

"Come on! Don't you want to defeat me?!" Urashiki shouted sarcastically before spinning and delivering a kick aimed at Naruto's head.

Naruto gritted his teeth and surrounded his head with Armament Haki, creating five clones. He allowed himself to be struck, creating these five clones, which then exploded. At the same time, however, Naruto himself exploded in a puff of smoke.

"A clone?!" Sasuke exclaimed in surprise.

"A clone?!" "I did it when we destroyed that roof," Naruto's voice appeared above him before he glanced to the side, seeing the real Naruto already landing in Sage Mode. Using the dust cloud and the small window created when Urashiki jumped, Naruto created a clone to pass for him while the real Naruto entered Sage Mode.

"Interesting!" Urashiki exclaimed as he moved his left arm to the side, clearing the smoke from the explosion. His eyes locked onto Naruto as he smiled.

"It seems you've mastered that clone technique of yours, to the point that even I find it difficult to distinguish them from the real you!"

"Your praise doesn't make me happy, you ugly bastard," Naruto growled before his chakra exploded completely and he used his Heavenly Steps. Sasuke followed behind, unable to match the speed of Naruto's technique.

"Conqueror's Haki... Armament Haki..." Naruto thought as he focused on his next kick. All his chakra-enhanced physical strength was being amplified by his Haki as he approached Urashiki. The latter, however, only grinned, baring his teeth. When the blow was in front of his face, he moved to the side with precision, but his eyes widened as he felt something touch his face.

"And Kawazu Kumite too, you bastard!" Naruto yelled loudly, watching blood spurt from his foot as Urashiki was sent flying to the side with brutal force. Urashiki crashed through several buildings, causing them to collapse. That mere graze demonstrated the power of Naruto's strike. Had he landed that blow accurately, he might have crushed part of Urashiki's head.

"Naruto, we have to move the battle out of the village or it will cause too much damage."

"How many times can you use that exchange technique?"

" "Several times"

Naruto nodded and created twenty clones that began using the Celestial Steps technique.

"I'll take him out. Please use that technique to switch places with the clones, and with that, Urashiki too." Naruto took off from the ground and approached his enemy, noticing that Urashiki was slightly shaking his head, his nose twisted and bleeding. His lips were also split, a trickle of blood running from the corner of his mouth.

Urashiki was stunned...

And it was the perfect moment!

Naruto kicked him hard and then punched him in the stomach.

"Buurgh-argh!" Urashiki's eyes snapped open, and he spat blood from the blow before being sent flying into the air. Naruto didn't get far before delivering another blow to his head. Urashiki's right eye exploded into a spurt of blood, and his face contorted slightly.

Sasuke looked serious before switching places with a clone and hanging in mid-air. A second later, he used the same technique to switch a clone with Urashiki. This happened three more times before the group left Konoha and the remaining clones leaped toward Urashiki and exploded.

"Sasuke!"

"I know!"

The two-person team sped toward them; Naruto using Heavenly Steps and Sasuke propelling himself with a clone Naruto created.

"Chidori!"

"Rasengan!"

The two techniques hurtled toward the stunned and bewildered enemy, striking the center of his abdomen.

"Oooaaargggh!!" Urashiki screamed in rage and pain as the Rasengan twisted his skin and organs while the Chidori electrocuted and burned his body. As Sasuke and Naruto began to fall slowly, Urashiki's body followed suit, until he hit the ground with a loud thud as his blood pooled beneath him.

"Senpou Mokuton: Rasengan!" Naruto called out, alerting Sasuke. A beautiful green Rasengan formed in his hand before Naruto spun his body through the air and landed on Urashiki. The Wood Release Rasengan, instead of exploding, twisted Urashiki's skin even further. The Otsutsuki's body writhed as his mouth opened and he spat out more blood. His Rinnegan eyes faded to Byakugan before rolling back completely.

Sasuke watched as the Rasengan sank into Urashiki's body before Naruto leaped back. But at that moment, something breathtaking, yet grotesque, happened. As if Urashiki's body were the earth and his blood the water, a slender tree burst from within him before growing at an alarming rate. Branches sprouted from his core as they grew, and roots pierced his back and plunged deep into the earth.

Urashiki's body was torn to pieces, blood spraying out and splattering across the tree as its leaves turned red and dripped slowly down the trunk.

It was a gruesome scene.

"Was that ending necessary?" Sasuke asked, a hint of doubt in his voice.

Naruto glanced at him before turning his gaze back to what remained of Urashiki and replied, "You told me that this Momoshiki you fought ended up transforming when you were winning. I didn't want that to happen while we were observing whether he was alive or dead from our combined attacks."

"It's better to play it safe with an enemy like this. I don't want any unpleasant surprises."

Sasuke nodded, understanding the point and inwardly berating himself for having forgotten it. But, honestly, he was truly surprised by Naruto's power. After all, hearing and seeing are two different things. And it was good that Urashiki had a mocking, cynical, and arrogant personality. If he had been serious from the start, things would definitely have been different in this battle.

"Alright, I don't want any surprises, like I said! So, let's get rid of the body completely!" Naruto said.

"Alright..." Sasuke walked toward Urashiki's remains and peered with his right eye as he transformed into the Mangekyou Sharingan.

"Amaterasu..."

Black flames were summoned over Urashiki's body, which began to be consumed by the dark fire.

Thus, Otsutsuki Urashiki had been defeated and finished forever.
